Billy S.

Las Vegas, NV

I have years of practice in pa and sound, let me know what your looking to record or capture and make your music happen.

About Billy

I have been playing guitar for 20 years or more and I play everyday. I really enjoy teaching and learning myself from others and I'm always pushing myself to be the best that I can in my guitar playing. I played in high school and in college and I used to have my friends come over when I was in high school and we would all help and teach each other. These days you can find me out on Fremont Street playing my guitar and singing which is a lot of fun and helps to keep me in practice and become a better player.
If you find yourself excited about taking in some guitar lessons with me here's what
you'll learn. I will teach you the names of the strings, how to tune, chords and how to play them and there locations, I will teach you songs and playing by ear and how to train yourself to hear music and play it. I will teach you to read notes or tablature, whatever you prefer. You will learn, scales, key signatures and the circle of 5th's. Does this grab your attention, I hope so?
I've taught many satisfied customers and the reason they come back is they know how much i enjoy the guitar and how much i love to teach and how much pleasure i get out of it .

*** Travel Equipment ***
I will provide a study packet for the student. I will teach them to read music, notes, chords, etc. I expect them to have a guitar, and the will to study the material .

*** Specialties ***
All styles. I want the student to show me what they want me to teach them. I want them to start from scratch and go from there. I would rather they learn to read music instead of tab .

Boulder City, NV

About Bruce

I received my degree from the University of Utah in instrumental music education. Along with specialized training in band and orchestra instruments, I also offer lessons in guitar, banjo, mandolin, and harmonica in playing and performance. When a student has a song they want to learn, I focus lessons around the requested song. I also have an extensive library of songs that I utilize. My music methodology is built around a song book that also has a CD attached. This has proven to be a lot of fun for all my students. It makes practice time more fun as they "play along" with the CD.

With folk instruments I start by teaching the student basic chords and basic chord sequences.
In the beginning I stress the proper hand position and I spend some time perfecting the best finger position. This eliminates a lot of problems that will come up later. For the first songs I teach them songs that use those same chords and chord sequences. Soon after that I teach them how to read music. This is vital to being able to play lead on any folk instrument. As the student progresses he or she is exposed to many different styles of music I also will teach several different picking and strumming patterns. .The student is also taught about more advanced chord progressions and music theory that can be used in any situation.

For brass instruments I teach techniques in developing breath control and embouchure development. Attention to these details will eliminate problems that could come up in the future. The student will learn how to read music from the start. As the student develops these basic techniques I begin working on tone development and breath support. As the student progresses he or she will be exposed to many different musical styles.
During the past two years I have been working for the Clark County School District as a Para Pro. I help students that need extra help to be more successful on their instrument.
I specialize in teaching the lower brass family. That is the Tuba, Trombone and the Baritone. I also train new teachers in the lower brass family if the new teachers has no experience when they first start out.

North Las Vegas, NV

As a music recording apprentice I had the advantage of apprenticing under the wildly successful jingle and cable film scorer Mike Ferenci. I also go to spend a lot of time in Capital records Studio B. My home studio just received a major upgrade and I would make sure you benefited from all the experience I was lucky enough to have.

About Cameron

Overview
My name is Cameron and I have been playing music most of my life. I was involved in every form of music education that I could find, and took private lessons on guitar and piano for ten years. During this time, I learned that I improved when I performed music that I liked. I attended Truman State University receiving an MA in music theory. I then moved to Los Angeles and worked as a recording studio assistant, until taking a job for ten years as a school music teacher For the last five years I ran a very successful music studio in California The lessons were taught in my studio, a
t the students' homes or online and I incorporated the students' interests in teaching. I have also performed for many years and have written many songs that have been recorded and performed.

*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching method is unique; I never teach the same way for everyone. The main objectives I teach include performance, reading, ear training, theory, composition and improvisation. I find that playing examples of music that you like is the best way to improve skills. I will recommend books that best suit your style and level. The main styles include (but not limited to) rock, blues, classical, pop, jazz and country. Please contact me if you have any other questions about my teaching methods.

*** Studio Equipment ***
I have a studio grade Yamaha U1 Piano and many weighted keyboards as well as a small recording studio.

I would still be taking lessons from Mr.Cameron, if he wouldn't have relocated to another state.I really advanced in rhythm, jazz ,and blues. Mr.Cameron took me from a beginner stage of songwriting to a whole new dimension of writing from the third ear. Mr.Cameron teaches at your pace and learning style. Great musician and teacher.

Sharon T.

Las Vegas, NV

In Recording Studios Singing Live and studio is totally different , I strongly recommend voice coaching during and preparation of recording a song .
The Vocal line is invariably the focal point of a song , so it has to be good and because natural human voice is the sound which we are most familiar, any flaws in vocal recording are immediately evident. I WORK on Perfecting your vocal pitch and delivery. I also have a recording device that I can record your voice before getting into the real studio. It's always good for you to hear what you sound like, get accustomed to your voice on cd, and we both listen for what works and what needed to be changed and improved.

About Sharon

Sharon T. is a professional singer, international recording artist and songwriter. She released her first single here in the US in 2003 and reached number 7 in the Tower Records’ chart. Her single “Tell Me” a dance version of the Philippines€™ legendary composer/producer Louie Ocampo's composition was released in Europe in 2004. This landed Sharon T gigs in London, Burgundy, France and Italy. Sharon T is currently with Kult Records, a New York based recording company and is soon to release her own composition “Don’t Tell Me”
under the same label. She is also in a joint venture wit
h Dauman Music, Universal Music Group doing songwriting and musical arrangements.

Golden Pisces has helped aspiring singers sing with power and control and develop their confidence. Sharon T's lessons include physical exercises that develop the support muscles, proper breathing techniques to control tone support, high voice techniques,
blending of the voice registers (splitting the voice into head tone and chest tone has ruined many voices) and stage attitude. Sharon T’s experience as a singer, performer, recording artist and producer allows her insights into the problems of singers. She also
helps her students in recording sessions.

Sharon T sang the National Anthem for the LA Lakers at the Staples recently and wowed the audience with the strength of her voice, according to Kobe one of the Best Renditions of National Anthem in the history of his Lakers Team. Sharon T. has GROUPS produced champions and finalists in several singing competitions. Some of our students were given major roles in school plays recognizing
their singing abilities. And now a group just got signed with YOUNG MONEY (Producer to Nicki Minaj , Drake , Tyga and many famous artists) and the group WTF – WE THE FUTURE is starting tour in July 2013 with Lil Wayne W3 The Future is currently touring back to back with Austin Mahone 2014. Lose your fear of singing high notes, develop your confidence, break your personal singing barriers, learn the proper singing techniques and sing with power. Learn these in just several lessons than most voice teachers teach in several months

home recording software, equipment, techniques, and how to copyright, sell, or license the product.

About Andrew

Andrew is a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, backing vocals) who settled in Las Vegas in 2013. After graduating from Musicians Institute in 2008, he wrote a collection of acoustic guitar pieces licensed to The Weather Channel, then spent 5 years working as a show musician and top-40 musician for 3 cruise lines.

Upon arrival in Sin City, Andrew co-founded the local band “Tin Toy Cars” which consists of various Cirque du Soleil musicians from 2 shows. Their debut album entitled "Falling, Rust and Bones" is currently on hundreds of radio stations nationwide and has
broken the all-time record for highest new artist debut on the A.M.A. Charts. Look for the album on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby. In January 2016 the band had feature articles in dozens of newspapers and magazines in Las Vegas, New York, and Los Angeles, and had many radio interviews scheduled to start the year. Their debut music video was premiered by The Huffington Post in March 2016 along with a feature interview.

Andrew also performs in the band backing Nashville recording artist Rowdy McCarran (album available on iTunes). The band is sponsored by Outlaw Energy Drink and Headblade, and has won the Las Vegas Battle of the Bands 3 of the last 4 years (did not compete in 2014 because Rowdy was recording the album in Nashville). They were the house band for two different venues during the December 2015 NFR event. They perform regularly in Las Vegas at various venues, and were featured on Channel 13's "Valley View Live" in November and December 2015. They headlined a few shows in Nashville in January 2016, and are always performing somewhere in Las Vegas every week.

Andrew also owns an arranging and publishing company, Mojave Sun Sound, which produces arrangements and sheet music for various Las Vegas performers, and a few cruise ship entertainers. He is also the founder and director of the non-profit organization “Band Together Music Charities." The organization provides free music lessons to children from families falling under Federal Poverty Guidelines, and employs local professionals at rates outlined by The Las Vegas Musicians Union, allowing instructors to contribute to their health plans and pension funds.

Andrew also teaches weekly lessons and plays Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings at Las Vegas's Family Worship Christian Church (non-denominational). During the lessons, Andrew uses the same software as his professionally arranged sheet music, to keep a journal for each student as they learn, and the journal is regularly emailed to the student as a PDF file.

After my first lesson, I feel that if anyone can teach me guitar, it's Andrew. He's great at explaining things and is very encouraging, and he focused specifically on what it is I want to know. He laid out the basics for me in a very simple, direct way, and my "homework" from just this lesson will take me MUCH farther than I've ever gotten on my own. He's a great instructor.
