Lynzi H. Glendale, AZ

About Lynzi

Hello everyone! I've been singing since the age of 3 and performing since the age of 6. I am not only an experienced music teacher with a passion for music and teaching, but an experienced performer, and songwriter. I started performing at a young age with the Columbia School of Theatrical Arts, and as I grew older I studied different techniques such as speech level singing, classical, and even techniques from Brett Manning, one of the most amazing vocal coaches today who teaches artists such as Haley Williams from Paramore. I have experience performing many styles of music, and also was a voice major in college. The students I teach will benefit from my contemporary techniques, and can learn to sing in almost any style of music they choose. *** Lesson Details *** Do you want to learn ...

We absolutely love Lynzi. I have seen such a difference in my son in a very short time. His confidence has shot through the roof and under Lynzi's guidance, Josh auditioned and was chosen to sing in his school's talent show.

Lynzi is great at getting Josh to channel all his energy into his singing and getting him to focus and follow directions. I highly recommend her!!!

My daughter has been taking singing lesson with Lynzi for a few months now and things couldn't be better. My daughter was wanting to improve her range and tone for musical auditions at her high school and Lynzi has not only helped her grow but has also given her confidence. She ended up auditioning and making the musical... Not just the chorus but a solo part!! We are so pleased and happy to have Lynzi in our lives and we recommend her to everyone! Lynzi is an outstanding teacher and mentor.

A Great Teacher!

Our son experienced a double-stroke/traumatic brain injury at birth. During his life, my wife and I have constantly implemented as many therapies and different learning environments, as possible. Not surprisingly, we have read how music can facilitate learning for children in various subjects and even enhance many of their skills that could be used in other areas.

As parents, we believe it has been a true blessing, finding a teacher such as Jenny, and we are very fortunate to have her as our son’s piano teacher. Through Jenny’s great patience and teaching methods, our 4-year-old son, today, is able to read and play his notes. We believe that this is possible because Jenny is a very experienced teacher knowing when to modify and implement the lesson plans in order for one to reach their full potential.

What a joy it is to see our son read, comprehend, and play his music. We are greatly appreciative for Jenny’s expertise, patience, and special skill of possessing the ability to teach many walks of life how to play the piano.
Lou S. Surprise, AZ

About Louis

My name is Lou S., and I come from a family of Drummers. My Father was a Master Drum Instructor and taught my Uncle, Brother, me and over 2800 other students in a teaching career that spanned more than 40 years. As the youngest in the family I had the opportunity to learn from my Dad as well as my other family members. My structured lessons started at the age of 5 and by the time I reached high school I was booking my own band and performing weekly at local clubs and events. There was a certain amount of pressure growing up in this environment. After all, if you’re the teacher’s kid, you’re expected to be good, right? This is true, but the way my Father taught and how he inspired me was to be sure I had my own identity. He was not making clones, he was teaching the ART of ...

Passionate about drums; reflected in his teaching

Lou took me by surprise after the first few lessons. His preference is to teach the foundation and basically build up from there. This sort of put me off at first because I wanted to learn a specific genre without all the extras that I thought I didn't need. Fortunately, he was able to help me understand that by learning all of the simple rudiments, I can play anything I want. Now, I haven't reached that stage yet, but I have no doubt that I can get there with Lou's help.
Patti G. Glendale, AZ

About Patti

I have 30 years of teaching experience and have enjoyed a successful singing, teaching and conducting career in the US and Australia. I have excellent piano skills and can sight-read and play most piano accompaniments for my voice students. No two students are alike so I teach everyone according to their needs and their learning style. I have an exceptional understanding of the voice and communicate using tangible imagery to produce excellent results. I work with all levels of singers from beginners to career level in Broadway, Pop and Classical styles. Beyond university training, I have had training from teachers and coaches from the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Arizona Opera and many others. With piano, again, technique is important but lessons must be FUN! I like using ...

Patti is a phenomenal musician and teacher

Patti is the most effective music teacher I have worked with. She has an intimate and readily communicated knowledge of vocal technique, and crucially, where problems can arise. She has an intuitive awareness of the voice in a way that can only come from extensive professional experience in performance and education. In a relatively short space of time I have learnt a great deal and grown vocally beyond what I thought I would be capable of.

I cannot recommend Patti highly enough.

Pattie is an absolutely wonderful teacher who really knows her stuff. I have learnt so much over the short time we spent together and even though its been a while I can still put her techniques to good use.

David has been extremely helpful to me as a beginner. He not only knows the technical stuff but he is encouraging as well. It's what a beginner needs. He patiently works with me providing tips and a bit of music theory, which I enjoy. The sessions have been enjoyable and I believe I am making good progress. I am enthusiastic about continuing playing and taking lessons.

David is a great teacher! My 13-yr old niece and I decided to take up the guitar not to be rock stars but just to learn an instrument. David was very patient dealing with a kid who decided she had no interest in playing the guitar let alone practice and an older person with klutzy fingers who can't seem to find the time to practice. Amazingly enough through David's good teaching we both learned how to play in just a few short sessions. The kid quit lessons but I am still going and am looking forward to David teaching me my first rock riff…maybe being a rock star is still possible :-)

Susan was my Piano teacher for a couple of years before she moved to Arizona. She was just wonderful. A great teacher and yet flexible and understanding. Although she made sure I was challenged, she was willing to work with me on the pieces that I was interested in and kept me encouraged to continue playing and learning the piano with my terribly busy schedule. I highly recommend Susan as a music and piano teacher.

I took lessons from Susan for many years when she lived in Michigan. She started teaching me how to sing when I was in middle school, and I kept taking lessons from her throughout high school. She has amazing patience and talent, and she's very knowledgeable. She not only taught me the basics and mechanics of music, but she also taught me how to really express myself through music. I thought I was a good singer to begin with, but she taught me more than I ever thought was possible. I've seen her teach children from my church and the older folks from the adult choir, so she's very flexible and versatile. Needless to say, I highly recommend Susan to anyone looking to take lessons!
