Sachie T. Sunnyvale, CA

About Sachie

Born to an award winning conductor and music teacher, I was exposed to music at a very early age. With my father’s supervision, I began my piano and ear-training at the age of three. At age four, I joined the Yamaha musical after-school program and engaged in group lessons. As I got older, group lessons gave way to private instruction as I learned and played piano passionately through my childhood. I was born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan and left my native land in 2006 to the United States to better my education. In school I studied general music, with an emphasis on piano. Additionally, I have also studied Early Childhood Development and Education. *** Lesson Details *** I tailor my lessons depending on the age and experience level of my students, but in general I believe in ...

Rhonda S. Hayward, CA

About Rhonda

I have always had a love for music. From all the music trivia games my family won't play with me, to my large collection of records, cassettes, and CDs - I am hooked! I made my solo performance debut at age 7 by singing "It's A Small World" acapella in a school talent show. At age 9 I started taking clarinet lessons where I learned musicianship and how to read music. Throughout my school years I also sang in choir, played tenor saxophone in the school jazz band, and hoofed it in marching band. During my first year in college I took a beginning guitar class for fun and I never looked back! I studied classical guitar for 3 years and piano for 2 years. I ultimately received a Minor in Music from California State University, Hayward in 1990. I have been playing guitar for 27 ...

Rhonda is very patient with my nephew Davis who has special needs. She is very friendly and makes him feel comfortable and at ease. She is helping him to to play easy classical pieces and introducing music theory in a way that he can understand. She's awesome!

Seriously the best instructor ever. Rhonda is patient and kind and can connect with you where ever you are in your progression. I started lessons with enthusiasm but some fears of failure, the enthusiasm has been supported well and the fears slowly forgotten because there's always something to practice and be excited about.
When I took some time off from lessons, and returned, just after one lesson my passion resumed again, after seeing Rhonda. I feel like I can ask her about anything.
I'm super glad I signed up for lessons. ~

Great Teacher with lot of experience!

James has lot of experience especially on the kind of music I'm learning. There wasn't even a single piece that he was not able to give me advices and improve the way I play (or try to play).

Also on the personal side he is really friendly and ready to help on any other informations like basses, bow, strings, songs, books, etc.

To summarize, I saw a lot of progress in my playing after taking the classes with James... totally recommend him!

Molly is the best voice teacher I have ever had! She's very positive and supportive. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in both singing and acting, but she always makes sure the class is fun. If you want singing to feel natural and easy, while also sounding amazing, she is the perfect teacher. Every time I come out of her class I feel like I've learned something new and useful. I am forever grateful that my mom found her for me! She is truly amazing!

Molly is excellent as a voice/drama coach. Molly helped my 12 year old get her first real part for a play at a local theater. Not only has my daughters singing improved, she has also gained confidence. Molly is so encouraging and super positive. She helped prepare my daughter for her audition with lots of great advice on how to prepare her voice and perform. She coached her on body language and how to stand out at an audition. My daughter adores Molly and always looks forward to her next lesson with her.
