"Andrew is a great teacher.
I was very much a beginner when I started taking lessons with Andrew. He was extremely helpful, and catered the lessons to wha
t I wanted to pursue musically. He always made the lessons fun, challenging, and interesting. I took lessons at his home studio. It was a very comfortable and welcoming environment. The only reason I'm not taking lessons with him anymore is because I'm moving. Overall, he's a great teacher and I would highly recommend him to people of any skill level."

"Although it has been only 2 months since I started my lessons with Mrs. Heather Lanza, I have witnessed a great difference in my sight reading and my pian
o playing. She has chosen the textbooks that I just needed, and I think they are of high end rank. In addition, Mrs. Lanza, suggested some supplementary books that I just needed; they have been really useful.
Mrs. Lanza inculcates independence in her students by letting them choose some of their material while assigning them tasks (that will later turn out to be just what they needed).
On a personal level, she is a lady of nice, considerate, understanding and helpful character.
I'm a firm self-study learner; however, I think a good teacher can save the learner a lot of time and effort, and that is what Mrs. Lanza could do well."

"Great teacher for all levels
Karissa is amazing! She works with you right where you are at an makes sure that you are comfortable. She never got impatien
t with me and my progress, and she helped me find music I actually want to play instead of the boring standards. She works with what time and what day you need, pushes you to be better, and to have confidence! Such a pleasure to work with!"

"Doreene is fun, entertaining, and a very talented voice instructor. She thought of ways how to improve my singing and it has helped me immensely. She neve
r made me feel awkward or caused me to shy away to try her exercises. She is very open to me which made it easier if I had any questions in regards to my singing technique. I will recommend her to anyone who is either looking to learn how to sing or improve their singing voice. If I did not have a crazy work schedule, I will still continue taking lessons from her. 5 stars well deserved!"

"Billy is great--very knowledgeable, interested in teaching you how to teach to and play yourself rather than doing one individual song per lesson, as so m
any teachers do. He's also easy going and incredibly helpful."

"Thomas has requested that I write a letter of recommendation on his behalf. Thomas worked as an instructor for Piano Keys 4 Kids from September 2013 to
June 2014. As the owner of Piano Keys 4 Kids, I assigned Thomas with duties as an instructor in an after school enrichment program in several public elementary schools. Specifically, Thomas taught children in grades K-3 the basic fundamentals of the piano using a curriculum developed by Piano Keys 4 Kids. His group class time was approximately 1 hour in length. Based on his college class schedule he accepted as many school assignments as possible. Over the time that I have known Thomas he has consistently performed his duties with competence. Thomas was not only reliable in attending every class he was assigned, but very prompt in delivering an update on the progress of his classes. With the depth of Thomas' musical skills, he can be an outstanding piano teacher in both the private and group setting. While Thomas leaving our company to attend graduate school is a loss to us, I have every confidence that Thomas will thrive in graduate studies as well as in his music instructor endeavors. Thomas is an intelligent and committed individual."
Joshua picked up his first set of sticks at 10 years old, beginning lessons with his father; this seemingly young interest took a turn for devoted passion and appreciation of rhythm and music. He is versatile drummer with more than 15 years of experience in different styles.

KeriAnne B. is absolutely awsome!! She always encourages and instills confidence in my grandaughter's abilities to play any piece she desires.
I began my journey in music at the age of 10 with the clarinet in my elementary school band and then progressed to the piano at age 13. I graduated from Gateway College in St. Louis with a Bachelor's degree in music. Currently I am attempting to add guitar and saxophone to my personal repertoire of instruments. I love learning new instruments and I love teaching the piano! I have been a church musician for over 10 years and have played the organ, piano, keyboard, praise sang, led Youth worship and the Youth band, and have directed children's choir. I am currently an assistant music direct
or and worship leader and I absolutely love music and love sharing my passion with others and helping to develop their musical talents.
*** Lesson Details *** I offer both note reading (traditional sheet music) and improv (chord sheet) methods to learning the piano.
Note Reading students will most likely use the Piano Adventures curriculum by Faber & Faber (either Beginner, Older Beginner, or Adult level) and will utilize at least the Lesson and Theory books.
Improv students will receive handouts each lesson. This method is most popular with students wanting to learn "chord-style" or gospel music.
Whether wanting to play for personal enjoyment, joining a church music team, or to pursue music as a possible career, we can work together to pick the perfect style for you and be on your way to a life enriched with the gift of music!
In 3-6 months students should expect to increase in their musical knowledge, vocabulary, practice and performance disciplines, musicianship (technique and attitude) and playing skill.
*** Specialties *** I am most comfortable teaching improvisation/chord style in which the Nashville number system is utilized. EX: G D I won't give up on us Bm A Even if the skies get rough G D I'm giving you all my love A I'm still looking up
But I also teach traditional sheet music.

Nikki L., Sarasota, Florida
Fulfilling a lifelong dream, I started taking piano lessons a year ago with Nikki L. I started from scratch not knowing anything and here I am, a year later, still at it! Because of her teaching skills and ability to measure my progress and competence, I am well into Book 2 of "Adult Piano Adventures." Her firm, but encouraging approach during each lesson has been a positive step for me by offering both praise and criticism when due. More importantly, she keeps me focused in such a way that I actually like to practice! Also, her clear instruction and guidance regarding music theory adds a new dimension to this hobby and offers meaningful insight into the learning process. I strongly recommend Nikki L.for piano instruction for any age group and for any level!
I graduated with my associates degree from musicians institute in Hollywood, California for vocal performance. I have been singing since the young age of 4 and was always in the school choir. I have experience in singing, song writing, piano and studio recording. I have always believed that music is a great outlet to escape from life's everyday stresses or worries, therefor music should always remain fun. They say home is where the heart is...well.music is my home!!!
*** Lesson Details *** When taking lessons with me you can expect a laid back environment. I believe music should always re
main fun to keep a creative flow. You can expect to broaden your vocal range and and learn the creativity of music performance and writing.

(This is Kari's daughter writing the review as I am the one receiving the lessons) Jennifer is honestly the best instructor I have ever had. She's so understanding about having to reschedule due to personal issues. She teaches in a way that's very focused for your individual learning style and she's also very honest which is always nice when you're learning a skill. I love Jennifer and I would definitely recommend using her for your child.
Kyla T. August 21, 2014

Jennifer worked hard with my daughter every minute. She worked on correcting her with positive feedback and encouraging words. She has been fantastic!
With two masters degrees in voice and speech-language pathology, with specializing in eliminating chronic hoarseness and giving you the perfect foreign accent, I am a premier singing teacher who still sings at jazz jams sessions. I previously was a full time professor of voice and music education, a Fulbright instrumental/vocal teacher at high school level, an elementary music supervisor. In recent years, I wrote a book for SLPs on therapy for vocal nodules and since 2012 my DVD of basic singing and speaking exercises called "Voice Gym" has been for sale on Amazon. Clients love how I mold te
chnique to a song the first lesson.

8-Year-Old Girl is Gnarliest Guitar Shredder Ever
I'm willing to bet that "playing like a girl" will stop being an insult within this little lady's lifetime! At just 8 years old, Lisa-X is able to play rapid fire metal solos that will melt your face off and blow your mind.
She's smaller than her guitar, but she sure knows how to make it sound big and mighty. Plus, the sweet grin she gives the camera as she's bending a note around 1:46? Priceless!
Child prodigies like Lisa are absolutely amazing, but there's really no wrong age to star
