Piano with Thomas A.

Thomas is a pianist, teacher, and composer. He is dedicated to helping students appreciate music and express themselves artistically. His teaching style adapts to the needs of each student and he has experience working with all ages, levels, and a wide variety of musical styles (classical music, musical theater, pop, rock, jazz, liturgical). Thomas graduated from the Jacobs School of Music and is highly trained in piano performance, music theory, choir, accompaniment, and conducting; he is also a strong advocate and teacher of injury prevention for musicians. Thomas has offered piano lessons since 2008. He previously taught in New Mexico, North Carolina, and Indiana, and he now resides in Connecticut. In addition to his private studio, he also teaches at the Neighborhood Music School and the New Haven Academy of Performing Arts.
