Our lessons will be fun, engaging, and high energy! We will learn the beats and epic drum fills to you or your child's favorite songs in any genre! While learning songs, we'll go over the fundamentals, techniques, and exercises needed to being a skillful drummer and musician. By learning a musical instrument, you will also learn how to think creatively, be disciplined, have a strong work ethic, accomplish goals, and develop self-expression and self-confidence. I'm an experienced drummer/percussionist, having been a freelance musician in Los Angeles for 6 years before moving to Portland. I received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Colorado, Boulder and have been teaching drums and percussion for 8 years. With extensive experience performing in the US, Central America, and on cruise ships worldwide, I am in a strong position to share practical, ready-to-use advice and tips.
