I am a highly motivated and independent tutor living in the Wexford area in Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated in August of 2014 from CMU with a BA in Global Studies where I focused on the Middle East and Arabic language. During my undergraduate career, I was enrolled in the Humanities Scholars Program, a special seminar designed for students with interests and talents in history, literature, writing, and more. I specialize in communication and language arts. I love to read, write, and edit essays and am particularly skilled in overhauling works of writing, as well as helping students hone their skills in proofreading, grammar, organization, and more. While in high school, I earned high marks on my SATs, particularly the Verbal sections (Reading and Writing). Additionally, I excelled in writing and history, earning a 5 on both the AP English 3 (Language and Composition) exam and the AP U.S. History exam. I also received a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam.
