I have taught some piano, enough to get a beginner started right! I teach the keys, proper technique, hannon exercises, sight reading, beginner etudes, and jazz comping.

I earned my bachelor's degree in music with emphasis in jazz performance in drums from Webster University in 2014. I have played countless performances ranging all styles of music!

Joel really enjoyed his first lesson.  Stephen is patient and is good at explaining things to younger students.

Stephen rocks!  He is kind, patient, professional and an incredible drummer.  He has proved exceptional at teaching drum mechanics to my 13 yo daughter, who looks forward to her lessons with Stephen,  He is also flexible with our busy schedule, and even helped us put our new drum set together...  :)

Stephen is an excellent drummer and teacher.  I always look forward to my time with him.  We have been doing hourly lessons every other week.  He is very flexible and challenging.  I am learning to replay the drums after many years and his advice has been encouraging and very helpful.  I recommend Stephen highly.
