I am a Hunter College graduate with a B.A in Music with concentration on Music Performance and Music Theory. I studied under Professors from well-credited music institutes like Harvard and Yale. I also studied at Teacher's College Columbia University for improvisation in popular music and jazz. I specialize my curriculum with not only playing the piano for performance, but also help students develop musicianship by training their vocals (such as sight singing) and ears. I also teach Music Theory along side that as well as some Music History. My lessons are conducted so that students can become a more well-rounded musician. In addition, I am also in a band so I can also teach popular music forms. Furthermore, I have experience teaching private one-on-one lessons as well as group lessons as I have worked in a piano studio before also. In addition, I am fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. I can tailor my lesson plans in any of those three languages. I love learning and am always looking to better educate myself. I also love teaching and believe that everyone deserves a fun and creative education of which they can use for the rest of their lives. *** Lesson Details *** Good for Beginners - Intermediate Levels.
