Dream up your ideal project, and I'll help you gain the skills and confidence to make it yourself! Everything from minor clothing repairs to constructing your own elaborate garment or costumes can be covered in your lesson.
Beginner: sewing machine use and care, hand-stitches, basic repairs and alterations to your existing clothes.
Intermediate: how to use commercial patterns or draft your own off of existing garments, constructing garments from scratch.
Advanced: Taking everything to the next level! This lesson can also cover unusual materials for specialty items.

My mother taught me how to sew when I was 10 years old. In 2010 I received my BFA in Costume Design & Technology, and have since been working in costume shops for professional theatres all over the country. Sewing is an extremely versatile and practical skilll that seems to sadly  be losing popularity. Let's change that! I will tailor all lessons specific to your skill level and areas of interest.
