Hi! My name is Rachel and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2004 and have loved helping my students with preparation for auditions, competitions, college, and personal musical skill development. I went to Williamson College and earned a degree in Worship, Imagination and The Arts, in 2013. I enjoy working with students of all ages and helping them reach their personal and professional goals. I look forward to helping you reach your goals! *** Lesson Details *** Rachel see 20-30 students on a weekly basis. The lesson is schedule a set session once a week that will be 30 min or 1 hour. Once the time spot is set students are expected to come to that time on a weekly basis. Students need the accountability of their teacher on a weekly basis to keep them progressing forward. Each student can expect progress depending on their level of commitment to lessons and at home practicing. *** Studio Equipment *** Separate room outside the house, 88 - weighted keyboard, music stand, stereo, computer, and chairs in the waiting area. Parking in street I front of house. *** Specialties *** Piano- most genres. Piano Students work from the Alfred Method Primer piano books or Faber. We learn scales, chords, and chord progressions. Students learn music theory and how to read music.

It was my first lesson and the session was only 30 minutes so it met my expectations. I should have taken an hour because 30 minutes isn't long enough for a first lesson. Rachel is a good instructor so far.
