    About Polly P.

For over a decade I've dedicated myself to linguistics, language-learning and helping both actors and non-actors with all their speech-related needs. My chief interest is helping people reach their creative and career goals, always keeping in mind diversity of learning style and the particular needs of your project in terms of expression and authenticity. I love complicated and unusual projects - anything from 17th century French-Latin to 1920s flappers to emergency Slovak. I have been working as a dialect and speech coach since 2012 and an English as a Second Language instructor since 2009. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I earned a BA in Linguistics and certification in TESOL, and an MA in Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. I am a native bilingual speaker of English and Russian (with a smattering of Spanish, Italian, French, German, Latin, Turkish and Arabic), and split my time between Moscow and the US.
