I am a Music Therapist with background in Psychology, Masters in Social Work and Yoga certification. I have been teaching voice, guitar and piano lessons for over 10 years. I have directed children's Musical theater camps, and taught piano and voice in music studios and privately for over a decade. Performance wise I have been on TV, musicals, lead singer in a band as well as performed on a cruise ship. I enjoy all forms of music. My personal favorites are Jazz, especially Brazilian Jazz, Musical Theater, Alternative Independent Rock and the Classics of course ;) *** Lesson Details *** I take a student-centered approach which basically means I take a needs assessment of my students and map out goals that are essential for them, their learning and where they want to go. Although I follow the students lead, following at a comfortable pace, I also challenge in terms of structuring my lessons for growth and tracking progress. So whether you are looking to be the next American Idol or just wanna learn for fun, I am all in to helping you reach your personal aspirations! :) I am able to use the Koday method as well as incorporate music theory but not necessary in my approach. It is more important that the student's personal needs and goals be met and attained in order to maximize full potential! *** Studio Equipment *** It is helpful if the student has the required book, staff paper, and a music notebook/folder to start :) *** Travel Equipment *** I have my own keyboard and guitar but children need to have their own keyboard/ piano or guitar for practicing. *** Specialties *** I have a background in musical theater but knowledge of classical and jazz as well. Voice is my forte but I also enjoy teaching beginning piano.

We've had 3 lessons now with Natalie and so far we are very pleased with her. While our son struggles with attention, Natalie has been able to keep him focused and interested during the entire lesson(s). Natalie is awesome! (4 Stars so far, Leaving room for advancement)

Natalie is a superb teacher! We are thrilled to have found such a compassionate, dedicated, competent teacher. She provides my daughter with excellent lessons of consistency, practice, review of previous lessons and introduction to new material. My daughter is so excited for her lessons because Natalie is so positive and enriching in her teaching style. Natalie exudes happiness, knowledge in the subject matter, and an overall engaging personality. My daughter has made leaps and bounds since starting lessons several months ago. We highly recommend Natalie as a singing teacher!!!
