My son has been taught by Michael year round for about 4 years now. When my son first came to Michael, he didn't know anything about the acoustic guitar. But now my son is a great guitar player. My son was able to learn his first song really fast and was so excited to play it for me. This is what is great about learning guitar with Michael. Its not just about chords and theory, he understands that kids want to play songs. My son has learned many songs from different genres. Under Michael's careful instruction and guidance my son has gained the confidence needed to teach himself new songs. Michael's way of teaching is fun and efficient. We are very pleased to have Michael as a teacher.

Michael Keplinger is a wonderful guitar teacher. My daughter has been taking lessons from him for 2.5 years, and her skill has grown by leaps and bounds. Mr. K, as he is known by his students, is patient and understanding, both with parents that forget things and with the students. He keeps his lessons interesting and focused, and based on the skill of the student. He works with them on a wide range of music and skills that help keep the students interested and growing as musicians. We have taken lessons with him both in person and online, and both have worked well. I highly recommend Michael Keplinger as a guitar teacher.

Michael is a knowledgeable and patient teacher who is capable of adjusting on the fly to the student and their ability to learn. During lessons he has been able to draw out what I have learned in the distant past and expand upon it in a way that has begun to build a good foundation for me to practice with. I highly recommend him as an instructor.
