    About Melissa F.

    Melissa is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s Musical Theatre Integrated Program. She has trained in singing for over ten years and is certified in level 1 of Somatic Voicework (TM): The Lovetri Method for Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy. In addition to teaching, Melissa has performed in numerous shows in NYC, including at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre, Times Square Arts Center, and CloseUp Cabaret. Her teaching addresses breath management, register balance, freeing tension, posture, and all aspects of performance. Melissa is a proud member of the Somatic Voicework (TM) Teachers Association and the Association for Popular Music Education.
