You can expect about half of the lesson to be dedicated to vocal warmups/exercises. These are an important aspect to singing and all musical training and where you really develop a solid technique. Having a strong technique helps you sing clearer, stronger, warmer, and with a lot more endurance. 
The rest of the lesson is dedicated to music. Time to put your technique into practice! I can provide music for you to learn, or you can bring your own

Hi! My name is Matt. I have been teaching for 2 years now, and have been an active performer and student of voice for over 15 years. I have a Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice/Opera Performance from the Purchase College Conservatory of Music. I love singing and I love music and I'd love to share that with you! 
I can teach any style of voice, including Opera/Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, etc. I can also teach any age. 
I am able to teach in any area of Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan, so long as it is accessible by way of standard public transportation.
