Marcus Webb had an early introduction to music. During his childhood he was taught to play guitar, piano and electric bass. It was through this that Marcus began to immerse himself into a wide range of musical styles. Webb's playing is visceral, with a expressionistic approach to music and sound. Constantly discovering, Webb has created a uniquely personal language. Bending, shaping and taking command of the guitaristic language with texture and elegance. His unconventional approach to an age-old instrument played contemplatively and intimately, has won him fans around the world. Webb displays an incredibly developed sense of control and restraint in his work, catching the ear of many fans. Today Marcus Webb works as an accomplished composer and sound designer from his Roanoke -based Virginia Studio.
