Kim is a gentle, playful soul. I enjoyed every lesson because she found the positive each time while kindly educating me on areas for improvement. Kim sends out an email with a summary of the lesson and a reminder of the assigned practice for the week. If you are considering voice lessons, you’ll find no one better!

Kim is incredibly knowledgeable in all genres/ styles of voice. I was fairly nervous to begin my singing journey in my 20s. However, Kim’s patience and encouragement really helped me to break out of my shell. She encouraged me to push myself and try new things. This really paid off. I learned a lot of warm ups, techniques, and songs. She truly cares about her students. She also emailed me a detailed note after each lesson summarizing what we worked on, and reminded me what I should practice. I hope to take my newfound instrument with me to an open mic night soon!

Kim was my singing teacher for a few months before I went to college. As an excellent and knowledgeable singer herself, she always had the right input and guidance on anything I wanted to sing. Lessons felt self guided and relaxed, which helped me come out of my shell to do my own performances.
