    About Jonathan S.

Jonathan has been teaching and performing professionally as a full-time job since 2004. He has a degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy (specifically, the teaching of lessons) and study at the graduate level, but also years of experience practicing his art at the highest levels. He draws on his real-world experience to teach at every level, and applies to every style and walk of life. Jonathan teaches in the classical music genre, drawing heavily from the Old Italian School (a.k.a. "bel canto") technique, mixed with modern science and technology. He takes the most complex concepts and breaks them down so that anyone can understand and apply them. All his students learn to sing healthily with good breath support, with freedom, and with ease -- along with some Italian pronunciation. Since proper technique is universal, Jonathan teaches all levels and voice types.
