Hi there, my name is Jesse. For eleven years, I have been tutoring students and helping them to write essays as well as understand topics in history, literature, and the social sciences. My first tutoring experience took place as an undergraduate, when I was asked by one of my professors to serve as his preceptor for the fall semester. In this capacity, I worked with freshmen and sophomore students on their outlines for upcoming papers, and even taught one class in the Professor's absence. Later, I was hired by a local community college to work as a tutor in the school's Learning Center. I worked with students of all ages and many backgrounds on assignments in English, history, philosophy, economics, computers, and health. Currently, I work as an online tutor for tutor.com, helping students from across the country with assignments in English, social studies, and essay writing. I received my bachelor's degree from Franklin & Marshall College, where I majored in Anthropology and minored in English. Later, I went to American University and earned a master's degree in International Affairs in 2013 with a 3.59 GPA. I'm a patient and professional person and my teaching style is flexible, understanding, and insightful. I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
