Hello! My name is Jason Lopez, I'm a clarinetist from Southern California that has taught for over 7 years, both in my private studio and at the Orchepia School of Music in Irvine, CA. In May 2020, I received my Masters of Music in Clarinet Performance from Cal State University - Fullerton while studying with Burt Hara. From 2016-2019, I was an active member of the Los Angeles Clarinet Choir, and have performed at the Claremont Clarinet Festival and Wintergreen Chamber Music Festival. Currently, I am actively performing with the Loyola Law School Orchestra, Palos Verdes Symphonic Band and the South Bay Wind Ensemble. When it comes to teaching, I treat each student as a unique individual and take care to design lessons based on a students needs and development. If you have any questions or would like to set up a discovery call to see if we are a fit, please reach out to me today. I look forward to meeting you soon!
