About Hope S.

Greetings! My name is Hope and I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and over 7 years of experience teaching, tutoring, and training! Currently, I am an ESL Teacher for an international school based in Beijing, China. Previously, I was an ESL Kindergarten teacher for 2 years in Seoul, South Korea and a Pre-K teacher to children ages 4-5. I love working with children and getting to know each child's unique personality and learning habits. My main goal while teaching is to help my students feel comfortable when they have questions or have a hard time understanding. I want to help my young learners become happy, confident, and successful adults. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, my husband, and our dog. I also love to travel whenever I can. Some of the places I've traveled to are Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Perhaps I will be meeting you in class from one of these countries. I look forward to meeting you!
