My journey in crafts and creative activities started when I was just 5 years old. I made clothing and accessories for my dolls. As I got older, I started making my own clothes and doing alterations on clothing for our school choir and orchestra concert uniforms. After college I opened my own alterations business, and decided I also wanted to teach the skills I had learned over the years.

The lesson was great, was really refreshing seeing someome very passionate about her work. Very inspiring. Beside the fact that I made my first pillowcase, her style of teaching is very inviting, and right from your first class, you can learn some techniques that makes you more exciting. Very great teacher.

Heather is great! Our lesson included 4 people-3 of them total beginners. Heather came prepared with samples of stitches to view, special instruction sheets for everyone to have once she was gone for reinforcement, and gave us some great overall advice on equipment, pattern reading, etc. I think we are all very excited for our next lesson!!! We all left stitching the basics after one short hour. She will be personalizing our lessons to what we want to accomplish overall. Heather is fun and flexible in her teaching!
