My lessons are student directed, meaning if you want to learn something specific we will work to help you learn that and achieve your goals.

Hi, I'm Erika. I've been playing piano for over 15 years, and working as a accompanist and pianist for 6 years. I've been teaching adults and children since I was 16 and I love finding creative innovative approaches that tailor to the individual student. My goal is to make music fun and help you or your child learn to love playing and achieve personal goals.

I started playing the piano as an adult student of Erika. I progressed much quicker then I thought I would. She is so patient and encouraging and keeps the pace at a level that is comfortable for the student. It is because of this that I always looked forward to lessons with her. Even when I didn't feel prepared, she would find something positive to say that would motivate me to play better. I highly recommend Erika for a piano teacher!!

My two young children (almost) 6 & 7, have been taking lessons from Erika for over a year and I could not be more thrilled with the progress they have made. She is kind and patient with them. While reviewing and learning their song(s) for the week, she also plays flashcard games with them to help with memorization and theory. We are bummed she is moving, but know she'll be a blessing to all her new students.
