Playing cello is extremely difficult, my goal is to work with the student to make it easy. If something feels overly complex or exhausting chances are you are set up incorrectly. I will work with students to help them establish good habits and good practice techniques to carry with them for a lifelong of music exploration.

I have over 16 years of private teaching experience ranging from very beginners to extremely advanced students.
I am currently a full-time cellist with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and have extensive performing experience in orchestra, chamber, and solo playing. 
Even though my background is mainly classical, I am well-versed in performing rock, jazz and many popular styles and love teaching anything my students love to learn!
