    ​Dustin Kiselbach is a Canadian bassist, composer, and educator based in New York City. He has performed all over the world since he began his career as a professional musician. Kiselbach began his life as a musician at 12 on the electric bass in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada. Eventually his interests turned to Jazz and at 16 he began playing the Double Bass. As a student in Canada, Kiselbach earned numerous awards and honors, including the best bassist award at the Envision Jazz Festival in Surrey, BC, Canada. In 2008 Kiselbach won a scholarship to study Jazz bass with Lynn Seaton at the University of North Texas. Proficient at both electric and upright, Kiselbach has performed in North America, Australia, Europe and Africa. Currently Kiselbach is studying at the Aaron Copland School of Music under the mentorship of David Berkman, Antonio Hart, and Michael Mossman and regularily performs in New York City.​

    Dustin is a fabulous instructor. He is so very talented and yet that doesn't stop him from being super patient and understanding. He has a way of showing students at their level what areas need improvement and how best to get there. His positive attitude and kindness makes him a great instructor. Thanks Dustin.
