I’ve taught guitar for over 18 years and my students have gone on to play in bands of all styles—jazz, rock, pop, country, indie. My students learn theory and sight reading as they progress towards the style of music they want to play. I work with students of all ages and love to watch them progress towards their musical goals!

Hi! I'm a lifetime musician with multiple music degrees and 20+ years of experience  teaching guitar, bass, keys, theory, and composition. I've worked with Cubase recording software for 7 years and have a growing online library of composition/productions that were created in my home studio.

Excellent teacher; so patient and a lot of positive strokes and encouragement for student.

David is very patient and observant.  He consistently notices where I am having troubles and develops exercises to better manage any weaknesses.  I notice immediate improvement from these special instructions. If you want to learn how to play guitar correctly, have fun and improve your form, David is the teacher for you. I am excited that I finally took up playing guitar at the age of 47 and much of my excitement is due to David.
