Piano with Chelsea D.

Chelsea D. is available for piano lessons in classical and popular styles. She has completed a BM in piano performance and vocal accompanying at Oberlin Conservatory, Ohio, and is now pursuing a Masters at the Peabody Institute. Chelsea majored in Classical piano, but is a versatile pianist with extensive experience playing pop, light jazz and world music. She is available for lessons in classical piano as well as for people who want to learn to play by ear or play light music for fun! Chelsea has experience teaching a wide range of ages and levels. She focuses on creating a lesson experience that is relevant to the student's musical interests and goals. For young beginners, she composes her own arrangements of popular Disney songs that keeps up the student's interest in playing the piano; and she is very experienced in working with advanced students who wish to make a serious effort with classical piano. Chelsea is also well equipped to teach music theory and ear training.
