Hello, my name is Rodney James and I've been a student of Chase at the Juilliard Music Advancement Program for two years. During my time with Chase, I have improved tremendously on my improvisation, technique, and fundamentals on the saxophone. Chase is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable teachers I have ever studied under. The learning process with Chase is very easy and comprehensive because he breaks everything down to the bare roots. He treats all his students with respect and is a very supportive person in general.
