Like many singers, I enjoyed singing from a very young age, participating in school plays and performances and singing solos at church. As a teenager, I was a part of a choir in Germany that traveled around Europe performing in opera halls and cathedral churches. I also lived and went to school in South America for a few years in which I performed with ensemble groups and performed special numbers for my church congregation and school every week. I have taken guitar and piano lessons which has given me a great foundation for singing and song writing! I have some background in recording in studios as well. I've done "jingles" for local radio stations and have recorded songs I've written with a local music band. In 2004 I was offered to sign with a local christian record label. I am a mother of three gorgeous girls and decided to take a break from vocal training for a few years. In the beginning of 2013, I opened my schedule up to train again. Yay! Having fun and keeping things light at times will help keep a student relaxed and open to try new things and stretch their ability levels. Breathing correctly and staying relaxed are very important in developing your vocal abilities! Hard work and determination ensure we excel in your abilities and reach our goals. I don't want my time wasted and especially not yours! I enjoy keeping myself relevant and make a point to stay alert to top 100 singer/artists on the charts. It not only can be fun to choose and sing popular songs for a repertoire but it can help give direction on a style of singing if a student is still on the path of self-discovery!
