Acting with Amanda A.

Hello! My name is Amanda and I have been teaching acting for 6 years. I have taught all levels of acting at Cal State Fullerton, Santa Monica College and Orange County School of the Arts. I prepare students for auditions (monologues, sides, cold readings), the business (how to find auditions), acting competitions (ACTF, scholarships), and college auditions (BA, BFA, MA, MFA). Students of mine have booked acting jobs in commercials, professional theatre, and have been accepted to colleges such as Chapman and NYU. Here's a little bit about me: I earned my BFA in Drama from NYU and I received my MFA in Theatre from CSUF. I also studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, England. I have acted professionally in Disney Channel's "Shake It Up", at the Tony Award-Winning La Jolla Playhouse and South Coast Repertory and at Theatre Row on 42nd Street in NYC's world-famous theatre district.
