Great website

If anyone is interested in taking guitar lessons or if you have kids who want to learn how to play the guitar, I highly recommend John. He's an amazing guitarist but even more, he's a wonderful teacher.
When I was starting out many moons ago, he gave me a couple of pointers that I still remember to this day.
John is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. From music theory to mastering the guitar, John has it all.

I have been a student of John for a few weeks now and I am amazed at the progress I have made under his instruction. I attempted to learn guitar about 15 years ago and after a few months of very little progress I got frustrated and quit. My experience under John has been a completely different experience and I couldn't be happier!

While I'm a complete beginner to Acoustic Guitar, I have previous musical experience that I told Matt about at our first lesson, which he is refreshing and building on in addition to teaching me the new instrument. He's an excellent listener and an intuitive teacher - often answering questions I have before I ask them. His approach is laid-back and friendly, but he's not afraid to challenge my abilities. By the third lesson he taught me a simple song, and had me re-teach it to him challenging me to learn the chord progression, remember lyrics, sing along and repeat the information I had just learned to help it sink in - an excellent, unexpected and fun exercise. I highly recommend Matt for serious students who want to push themselves.

Matthew is an Excellent ukulele teacher! As a beginner, I was able learn seven chords (C, Em, F, G, Am, D, & Dm) in two (1 hour lessons), how to strum, tune and hold my ukulele. Matthew is encouraging, patient, works at your pace and makes learning fun. He challenges you to learn and is very knowledgeable about music.
I look foward to continuing my lessons with Matthew.
With confidence, I highly recommend him as your music instructor! :)

Great Teacher

Vince has shown patience and professionalism since the first day I started.
He answers questions fully and allow the lessons to flow at a pace that works for me.
His lessons stay on point and we don't proceed unless I have a grasp of the technique or principle.
I recommend him for prospective students of all ages.

The Man is Patient & Helpful

Since Dr. C. and I are the same age, we connected musically and share the same taste in artists and musical genres.
He takes the time to answer all questions and allows me the freedom to experiment while under his supervision.
I feel I am grasping the rudimentary basics of the instrument and look forward to my next visit.
There's an ease to our lessons and I never feel as if I'm being rushed.
Recommend him highly.

Wi-Moto is an incredible teacher

Wi-Moto creates a stress free environment where productivity is always guaranteed. After working with her for only 8 weeks my vocal range was expanded dramatically. She helped me snag the lead in my schools musical and worked with me on my college audition monologues until they were perfected. If your looking for a acting or vocal coach look no further.

Stefano is a phenomenal young guitar teacher with excellent rates for private lessons.

I must say that since my son, Richard (12 years old) started taking classes with Stefano, he has learned to play the guitar properly. As a trumpet player and High School teacher of 18 years myself, I wanted to my son to not only play chords (which is how many guitar teachers teach) but also to play classical music as well as rock and most importantly to learn to read musical notes.
My son is very happy to be taking classes with Stefano, to the the extent that he looks forward for the next class as opposed to other teachers he has had in the past. Stefano's professionalism, ethics, and kindness are superb. He is a natural teacher with teaching skills that will go very far as a guitar instructor while making students feel comfortable while learning. He has an eye to catch all the kinds of mistakes my son makes, whether they are from sitting, holding the guitar to actually playing. He is patient, always taking his time and follows up with an emails with the lessons covered and even with suggestions for my son to follow up with during practices. I could not be happier with Stefano as my son's guitar teacher . We are so are so fortunate to have found this young man through takelessons.com. The suggestions from takelessons.com counselor were on point!
