Kyle F.

Chicago, IL

About Kyle

Re-imagine. Re-define. Re-authenticate.

This is the motto followed by Minnesota born Kyle Wesley; combining classic methods with modern soundscapes in order to stretch genres. Whether
through production skills, engineering, or instrumental performances, the goal is always innovation.

Studying under multiple teachers and disciplines, Kyle Wesley's sound has been shaped by his education, stemming from Jonny Lang's teacher Teddy Larsen, to jazz visionaries Nick Fryer and Alan Carter (MSUM), to professional Nashville session guitarist Mike Ihde (Berklee College of Music).

Thanks to proper education and inspiration, Kyle Wesley has performed at many venues of multiple sizes. As small as local jazz clubs, such as Studio 222, unique as the community theater orchestral pit, and as large as opening for bands like OK Go in packed settings. No venue is too large or too small.

Currently Kyle Wesley is paving his way through Nashville and beyond by creating his own methods, re-defining genres, and creating vast soundscapes to fit any situation. Constantly furthering himself creatively and proficiently, Kyle Wesley has showed continuing dedication towards achieving success in production, engineering and musicality.

Lessons with Kyle Wesley can include anything and everything!

There are so many good things to say about Kyle that I have no idea where to start!
Kyle is a skilled musician with great patience, knowledge and communication skills He cared about my goals and progress. His relaxed teaching style helped me feel comfortable with the guitar and now I understand music theory and know how to use it. Kyle is overall a great instructor and such a nice guy with the ability to explain even complex correlations in simple words.

Kyle is amazing! There is just no if, ands, or buts, about it. He has taught me so much about music, and has helped me discovered talents that have been dormant for as long as I could remember. I HIGHLY recommend him as your guitar teacher, and especially for people who live close to West End. Very close to Vanderbilt, TSU(both main and downtown campuses), and Fisk University. Kyle you are amazing, and it was an honor to be your student.

Hanna M.

Chicago, IL

About Hanna

A dancer for most of her life, Hanna found the stretching and strengthening aspect of yoga to be an excellent complement to her dance training. It wasn't until she began classes at CorePower Yoga that
she was able to find a deeper connection within herself and truly fell in love with the practice. A movement enthusiast, Hanna was immediately drawn to the physical challenges presented through creative Vinyasa flow sequences. Shortly after, she felt an energetic shift begin to impact her life in the most positive of ways. Hanna received her 200-Hour Yoga Teaching Certification in 2014, and now teaches yoga, dance, and helps lead yoga teacher trainings. Hanna’s yoga classes incorporate a focus on breath and alignment in order to flow seamlessly through postures, hoping that her students will find the same moving meditation that brings her to her mat every day. Hanna is thrilled that she is able to make a living doing what she loves by helping her students find their bliss.

Hanna graduated from Columbia College Chicago where she received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and Arts Management. Hanna's focus has shifted to teaching yoga primarily, but she continues to train and perform throughout the Chicago dance community. Hanna loves teaching dance and fitness class to students of all ages and experience levels. Hanna believes that if you’re not moving, you’re not growing and everyone can reap the benefits of a happy and healthy body, mind, and spirit.

Hanna caters her private lessons to the individual goals and needs of her students. What are your goals? Let's work together to achieve them!

I had my second lesson with Hanna this week and she has been great so far. As someone new to yoga, I would highly recommend Hanna. She took the time before we started the lessons to answer all of my questions. She is very patient and friendly. I like the way she has explained yoga so far; the styles, poses, flows and the mental and spiritual aspects. She has a calm demeanor.

She has also been mindful of my existing shoulder injury to make sure that what we're doing isn't aggravating it. The other nice thing is she's been good about responding to my questions quickly and throughly and she's been on-time for both lessons.

Priscilla W.

Elk Grove Village, IL

About Priscilla

I have been a Head Swim Coach At Two Olympic training facilities (Gold Medal Clubs) and I now coach competitive swimming privately full time.
Most of my current swimmers have qualified for State and
Regionals and Nationals. Two made AG National Top 16 since I started coaching privately again 5 years ago. I've coached for 14 years total and have been swimming for over 30 years.

Philosophy: I am a stroke and turn coach, which means my style is technique-based as opposed to mileage-based. I am very, very detail oriented. I firmly believe IT'S NOT ABOUT GETTING IT DONE, IT'S ABOUT DOING IT REALLY WELL.
Technique, cardio base training and speed-work are just part. We learn to feel the water and work with it to maximize our speed, adjust our nutrition to support our training, to recover fully to get all the benefit from our hard work and learn the art of swimming.
