Jerry P. Blacksburg, SC

About Jerry

I started playing the piano at age 4. I took lessons until I was in my Freshman year of high school. Since that time, I have progressed to my level of proficiency on the piano on my own. Part of my personal piano skill development was the ability to "play by ear". I have always been able to listen to a song, then sit at the piano for about 30 minutes, and have the song correct by the end. Part of my curriculum will be to teach students how to play through the power of "play by ear". Therefore, a basic understanding of the piano at the point of lessons beginning is paramount.
