Jared is an excellent teacher. I am 62 and took lessons from Jared for about 6 months. He individualizes his lessons, he is very knowledgeable in every aspect of music. He communicates and gives as much or as little information as you desire. We also covered a lot of theory as part of the lessons which I enjoyed.

He has a nice manor and is respectful.
I recommend him highly.

This unique combination of abilities and areas of expertise offers me the chance to help my students to grow, transform, and awaken their gifts on every level. Whether my students are young or old; whether they view ...

Just an all-around pleasure!

Eva is an incredible vocal coach as well as a confidence coach. The things she taught me and had me do not only strengthened my ability as a singer, but made me more comfortable with developing my own voice and performing in front of others.

She is also very personable and flexible in helping me with whatever I want to do. She isn't the type to try and cram material down your throat that doesn't interest you or in some way help you to get where you want to go.

I always look forward to my next lesson and wish that I could afford longer ones because I feel like I'm constantly growing whenever I'm there.
Chris G. Louisville, KY

About Chris

I am a working pianist/keyboardist/instructor in the Louisville area. I graduated from the University of Louisville's Jazz Studies Program in December 2013. During my time at UofL, I studied Brazilian music in Sao Paulo and Brasilia for 6 months. My current professional work includes playing in a Soul/R&B group, smaller jazz ensembles, and solo piano for various restaurants/private events. I enjoy playing a wide variety of music, from Jazz and Classical to Pop/Rock music of the past 60 years. I started teaching music privately during my undergraduate degree, and have experience in directing small and large groups as they prepare for musicals, wedding dates, song-and-dance competitions, etc. I look forward to teaching students of all ability levels and am comfortable accepting beginning ...

Benjamin G. Louisville, KY

About Benjamin

Hello to all future students! My name is Benjamin, I am a guitar teacher, and have been fascinated with learning and teaching for several years. I have been playing guitar for 11 years, and relatively new to teaching. I'm fun and outgoing, and have a lot of knowledge to give. I am currently a student at UofL, in their Computer Information Systems program. I have experience teaching all levels of players, from honing advanced techniques, to teaching the basics. I have helped a handful of students learn to play, from reading tabs, to keeping basic time, to learning techniques such as sweep picking, tapping, and soloing within scales. Though I may be a bit unorthodox in my teaching style, I feel that guitar is an expression of the soul and should be a form of my student's self expression! I ...

Samuel Y. Louisville, KY

About Samuel

My name is Samuel Y. I am 21 years old and have been playing trombone since I was 11. I was a very successful high school trombonist having made All-District 5 years in a row and All-State Two years in a row. I also was part of a matching band that won many championships and the concert band I was in won a national championship. I also was a music major at the University of Louisville. I am wanting to start helping beginners to intermediate players because I know just having someone to guide you asking helps someone progress so much faster, not only that I want to give the gift music to others and have it touch their life as it has mine. A little informed consent, I do not have a degree in music and my rates reflect that; however, I consider myself to be at college level and can ...

David T. Louisville, KY
