I began studying piano at age three. The joy of music has always filled my life. I have advanced degrees from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ and The Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, Rome Italy. I have a passion for helping my students excel in music. I have performed throughout the United States and Europe, most notably La Madeline, Salle Pleyel, Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, The Kimmel Center, and Michener Museum. I specialize in preparing students for Broadway, Juilliard, NYADA, and College auditions. Many of my students have gone on to be competition winners, scholarship recipients, music teachers, and performers.
I am a cello player from Macao and I can teach in English, Cantonese or Mandarin. I love to play orchestra and chamber music as well as studying music theory as I was a former junior student of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts where I study musicianship there. In high school years, I played in more than 3 youth orchestras and 2 string quartets. In addition, I have been the high school orchestra president and section principle for years, and was responsible for the weekly cello sectional training. In the fall of last year I started teaching 2 cello students privately. I am now studying in college in the major of music performance.
