About Andrew
Musically and personally, I strongly feel that diversity and openness are key in a person's development: when we move outside of our comfort zone and embrace the unknown, we are better able to grow as musicians (and human beings). As a performer, I feel that performing with musicians of different b

From the first lesson, Andrew has been a consummate professional. Each lesson he brings in something new, while making sure that everything we've covered in the past is still ingrained through repetition. Having Andrew as an instructor has opened my eyes to the many facets of drumming, and I have taken skills/techniques with me that will last forever. The feedback does not stop after each lesson, Andrew is available all the time for any questions I may have during the week if I am stumped while practicing. His schedule is flexible with mine, and he is willing to bring in music that I want to personally learn. The lessons are the right balance of fun and teaching, and his studio promotes a learning environment that is not intimidating to let loose if you're a beginner like me.
I'd recommend Andrew to anyone looking to expand their skill set, the lessons have been a great experience.

Beginners will find the sounds of the drum, learn the language used to explain patterns, and quickly memorize rhythms by name. Everybody learns differently, we will write, speak, feel, or clown around until you fully grasp the rhythm. Intermediate and advanced students will benefit from a variety of techniques from around the world to employ to make even familiar patterns sound fresh.
About Peter

David is knowledgeable, well spoken, and truly has a passion for drums as well as education. He is patient and always has an insightful answer for all of my questions. He has helped me with my technique and given me a deeper understanding rhythm in general. Highly recommended!!"

I have been taking lessons with Matt for over a year. I can honestly say, if you want drum lessons, then he's your guy! He is professional, personable, highly knowledgeable, patient, explains things very well, and very reliable. I have had 3 guitar teachers, 1 voice teacher, and 1 drum teacher before Matt and out of all those teachers, he was by far the best. There is a big difference between someone who does it for a hobby or just a little extra income and some one who has a passion and Matt has the passion and he really cares about his students. I can be really bad about practicing but he hasn't given up on me and is always encouraging. From my past experiences with teachers, a teacher that believes in you is a very important element in teaching, Matt has that element. If you want the best, I mean really the best you can find, then go with Matt. You will NOT regret it and nor will your child."

Casey is an amazing teacher. I have ZERO musical talent and Casey had me playing songs within a week. He makes learning fun and very easy. He is very knowledgeable not to mention a pretty sick drummer.
I started taking drum lessons just to check it out... and I keep coming back to learn more.
If you want a very relaxed and good time while learning to play. Casey is your guy."
