I teach piano at the beginning and intermediate levels. I use the Faber Series for all levels.

Hailing from a musical family, Tim has developed a fine piano teaching studio, traveling to the homes of his students, where they practice and allows a more comfortable learning experience. He also uses remote learning. Tim is a gentle instructor, who tailors each lesson and the materials used per each students, and the lesson includes theory, sight reading, ear training and pieces used for fun and recitals. Tim combines over 25 years of pedagogy, to engage each student to enjoy learning and performing, for a lifetime enjoyment of music. He teaches beginner to adult, all levels and styles, including composition, improvisation, jazz/blues and rock/popular styles

I've been playing and composing music on the piano for the longest of all instruments. I love piano more than anything. When I teach piano you will see and hear amazing things and will fall in love as well, I will help you understand everything there is to know and will try to teach you in the easiest way possible so there is nothing that will stop you from achieving your goals.

I teach beginning piano to students who are trying to learn musicianship for fun or for use in music theory or for help learning other instruments.

I also teach students for the CM and ABRSM exams and can teach serious classical music at any level when requested by parents.

I try to approach piano for young students in a fun manner so they will like to practice on their own while continuing to reach their goals.

I love to teach students of any age, but I specialize in teaching 4-12 year olds and adult beginners how to play.

I believe it is important to foster a child's growth of not just music but of learning any subject through what they learn in piano from finding patterns, focus, musical understanding and expression, through to time management. My goal is to get students to develop both their creative and their analytical abilities.

With over 10 years of experience teaching music privately as well as in a classroom environment, Joseph is skilled at facilitating students with various learning styles and abilities. He is trained in classical piano and has achieved an ATCL degree in Piano from Trinity College, London.
