The student achieves what he wants by always getting his best version of what he decides to do.
I design a totally personalized method based on what the student wants to achieve. Since I'm from Colombia, I like to put some of my culture on the way I teach and the way I see music.
My main goal is to put the student at a point where he enjoys learning and also progresses based on his effort and interest. Enjoy life through music, enjoy music through life.....

Hello everyone, I look forward to working with you! My name is Dr. Jung, and I play and teach violin and viola. I debuted with the Seoul Grand Symphony Orchestra at age 13 and the Rainbow Youth Orchestra at age 14. In addition to over 10 years of private lesson teaching experience, I am violin faculty at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan and a violin instructor with the Jackson Symphony String Team.
When I'm not teaching, you can find me performing for the “If Music be the Food…Lansing” series and Camerata Michigan, Cello Plus Series directed by Suren Bagratuni. I am a professional violinist and violist in the Boston area. I am a graduate of the New England Conservatory where I have studied with Miriam Fried, Donald Weilerstein, and Martha Katz. I have performed extensively throughout my life as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player on both the violin and viola in a variety of professional ensembles including substitute viola work with the Borromeo String Quartet. I draw from this performing background to teach my students of all ages and abilities.
I currently act as Adjunct Instructor of Violin and Viola at Merrimack College, where I serve as a primary instrumental teacher to enrolled students. I have also acted as the primary violin teacher for Main Street Music, LLC, in Waltham. Additionally, I run a private studio of 5-10 students as young as 6 and as old as 60. Of these, some never touched an instrument before our first lesson, and some are serious conservatory-bound musicians intending to make a career as a performer.
