Music Skills and Theory from Palomar College
I have been teaching music theory for years. Since 2012 I have been teaching in many schools and churches to help my students understand what they are playing, what they want to play and what they hear. My students can hear a chord and tell me if it is major/minor/diminished/augmented/dominant etc. They also will be able to figure out what key a song is in by ear and what key a vocalist is singing in for accompaniment. I teach the number system to those who want to know which chords fit in each key. This includes the number system which is the method that MOST performing musicians use while they write, play gigs and tour.

Brielle is a Brooklyn based singer-songwriter originally from New Jersey. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in music from William Paterson University where she studied performing, songwriting, music theory and ear training. While in school, she ran ensembles nearly every semester, and worked on arrangements and performances with these ensembles. She has been writing melodies and lyrics ever since she can remember, but started taking her craft seriously around age 13. She has been a dedicated singer and guitarist since then, and has been playing professionally (with bands, and solo) for around 10 years. She has held residencies at restaurants as well as playing The Stone Pony in New Jersey, to New York City venues including Rockwood Music Hall. Most recently, her focus has been collaborating with other songwriters and co-writing as much as she can with other writers and producers to make various kinds of music. As a teacher, she has taught at five School of Rock locations ...

Getting to know my students on a personal level is a major part of my teaching style as I believe it fosters a gratifying learning experience. I’ve always was a musician but only discovered my voice 10 years ago. I have gone through so many struggles to find my voice and I can help you find yours quicker than I did. I have gone through the wrong path and have had amazing teachers get me out of traps and dead ends and in return I’ve been able to help my students do the same. I’ve been teaching for 6 years now and it has been another passion of mine to see my students grow and achieve their dreams.
I am a profesional operatic Bass from San Jose California and now living in Las Vegas NV. Currently I sing with many opera companies around the United States and Europe. Singing has been my number one passion but teaching comes in at a close second. I love seeing my students grow and watching the t
