About Steve
Yo hablo Epanol y Ingles y puedo conducir los leciones en Espanol.

My name is Steve and I enjoy playing/teaching guitar. I am patient with students. All I ask is that you make sure you have the time to study and practice daily for it is a commitment. I teach beginning and intermediate classical finger style guitar as well as electric/rock/blues and chord/scale theory. We can learn songs in their entirety with all details present. Learn classical, blues, classic rock songs (Note: for beginners, after we have gotten through the blues a little) metal (If you have a locking tremolo, you might have to make adjustments on it to facilitate the lower tunings usually used in metal nowadays but I can definitely help you with that.) Give me a call I would love to hear from you. Thank you :)

PLEASE NOTE: I will be returning from maternity leave on September 11th. Please reach out for fall lessons!

In short, I am a performer and educator wrapped up in one! Originally from Pennsylvania, I moved to the New York City area in 2007 to perform and formally launch my company, Dance.Laugh.Learn – A music, movement, and drama program for kids. As Co-Founder and Artistic Director, I do everything from teaching to curriculum development. I am brand new to the Charleston area having moved with my husband a few short months ago. I previously served as the Director of Education & Development at Class Act Performing Arts Studio in South Orange, NJ. My areas of responsibility were Musical Theatre, Kids on Broadway, Dance Combo, Private Voice Coaching, and Company Team. I holds a B.A. in Music Performance from Ramapo College of NJ and is a
certified Kindermusik (Music Education program for children) and Leap ‘N Learn (Dance Education program for children) instructor.

Each vocal lesson will focus on the technical aspects of proper vocal technique including: pitch development, ear training, music theory, rhythm, musicality, and proper breath support. Acting lessons will work on improv skills, projection, objective, and choice. We will be silly, we will have fun, and we will learn and grow!

Rylee is an amazing teacher! She went far above and beyond to help my daughter prepare for her audition. She is a great technical teacher and has a very creative way of teaching technique. But she is equally as gifted at helping the student with intangibles such as gaining confidence and finding their individual style within the discipline. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I want to inspire students to become lifelong learners of the guitar and of themselves. Whether working with an advanced player or just a beginner on chords, the goal is to help them down the path of their musical journey. I believe it is important for parents of students and adult learners to know that even though we have a lot of fun, there is a much deeper level of learning and dedication at my studio than the norm. This has helped students go even go on to music school and one has been nominated for a Grammy.

About William
Hey! Welcome to my page future student!

My name is Will. I have been playing guitar for well over 15 years. I've always been a big metal player at heart. When I began my journey with music, I struggled at first and honesty, did not like guitar. WHAT!? It wasn't FUN to take lessons for me. It wasn't until I found my long-term teacher, and still good friend today. Going from frustration to inspiration was a big eye-opener for me into the world of teaching. All it took was one passionate teacher to change literally my entire life. That kind of privilege is something that has driven my career to this day.

To tell you a bit about my experience: I have played in multiple rock and metal bands and have toured the United States multiple times. I have written full length albums and have appeared on a variety of radio stations, websites, strea
ming channels etc. Outside of the rock world, I have also played acoustic and classical guitar for weddings and various promotional gigs, worship bands, and cover bands.

I have studied at college for jazz and classical guitar and have plenty of experience in both reading music and understanding music theory. While it depends on each student's goals, we can go as deep down the rabbit hole for theory as you'd like!

My topics cover a wide range: technique, style, composition, theory, song-learning, reading, improvisation, fundamentals, rhythm, lead mechanics, recording etc.

If you aren't sure on what you want to learn or are looking for the right teacher for your child, I have years of experience working with children and creating lesson plans from the ground up for each student.

I look forward to meeting you and watching you grow as a musician. Most importantly, I can't wait to have some fun playing music together!

About Pascal
Pascal was trained as a classical guitarist at the "Ecole Normal de Musique de Paris" in France. He has always been driven by different musical styles. In the late 1980's Pascal was the co-founder of the "Trio Français de Guitare," with which he played music from 20th century French composers for several years throughout Europe but a focal dystonia prevented him to pursue a professional carrier as a classical guitarist.
He then obtained a scholarship at the «  Maitrise Baroque de Versailles » for a year where he learned Choral and Orchestral direction.
In the late 1990's he founded the Progressive Rock band "Saens" with whom he made 3 albums produced in Italy and UK.
Between 1990 and 2004 he was the music director of EISF and adapted and conducted a wide range of Musicals and Opera from "The Wizard Of Oz" to the Benjamin Britten " N
oye's Fludd".
in 2012, he married his wife and moved to the U.S. where he played Bass guitar in bands as different as the Americana Band "Forty Mile Detour" or the Funky/ Soul band, "Groove Craft" and "Jupiter Down" a Metal Band.
Songwriter, singer, classical guitarist and bass player, Pascal always had a soft spot for cinema and more precisely B movies. When he learned that the musical 'The brain that wouldn't die" was being adapted in Charleston in 2016 / 2017, he jumped on it and was selected to be the creature
