About Cameron
Cameron began playing guitar at the age of 14, as a kid who found great Inspiration in classic rock music, idolizing such groups as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, and many more. This was only the beginning of a life long intimate relationship with music and guitar playing. Since his first introduction to the guitar he quickly grew, establishing a love for blues and all of its incarnations, from Chicago Blues to the varying acoustic and electric styles found in New Orleans, Mississippi, and South Carolina among other places.
Through high school Cameron played in rock and blues bands writing original music and getting his first real experiences as a composer and a bandleader. High School was also the place where Cameron discovered his interest in Jazz music as he began playing guitar in the school's Jazz band. Following hi
gh school Cameron began playing more jazz music as he attended Bellevue College studying theory and composition with Dr. Brian Cobb and guitar performance with Mark Hillard Wilson. After this he soon met renowned Jazz Guitarist Chris Spencer, with whom he studied with for years to follow.
Cameron eventually found himself at Cornish College of the Arts where he received a Bachelors degree in Music Composition. While at Cornish he had the opportunity to play guitar and compose for Jazz Orchestras, Latin Jazz ensembles, and Modern Jazz groups while playing under the direction of internationally know musicians such as Wayne Horvitz, Tom Varner, Jovino Santos Neto and Chuck Deardorf.
In the realm of composition Cameron studied privately with composers Jarrad Powell and Tom Baker, with a deep focus in contemporary classical music. He is now the composer for the quickly rising interdisciplinary arts group the Pendleton House.
Currently Cameron spends his time working as a guitar player in Seattle while also writing chamber music for various ensembles and art groups. He performs on a regular basis with a variety of groups in the Seattle area including the Seattle based jazz trio Honeysuckle Rye, folk and bluegrass group Modern Bygones, as well as the orchestral pop band Sebastian and the Deep Blue.

In the world of music education it is important to recognize that everyone learns differently and there is no universally prescribed teaching method that works for all students. Everyone must find how he or she learns best. As a teacher I acknowledge this and incorporate it into my method of instruction. Anyone can find success as a proficient instrumentalist if they are able to learn on there own terms and find what they are doing enjoyable.
Lessons will start with an assessment of what the student wants to learn and what their goals are. From there, we will determine the proper approach to meet those goals while keeping things fun and interesting. Once a particular skill level and interest are established I will develop an individualized lesson plan for the student to fit their wants and needs. The goal with beginning students is to get them up and running right away with chords and melodies, learning the fundamentals while being able to play their favorite songs. For all students I like to extensively focus on knowledge of the fret board and the many possible approaches to mastering it, as well as looking at creative practice methods and daily routines. A musician’s method of practicing can greatly determine their rate of improvement. For more intermediate and advanced students the general focus will shift to topics such as ear training, rhythm, music theory and music notation (if desired) and, their application to the guitar.
For students interested in composition, we will focus more on analysis and the application of theory. We will look at songs or pieces that are of interest to the student and take them apart to figure out what makes them great. We will also look at many different kinds of music and their construction. A large part of music composition in the 21st century is the integration of electronic and computer music. For students looking for an introduction into pre-recorded and live electronic music with or without the use of guitar or other instruments, this is strength of mine that I love to teach.
Whether you are a serious musician or just looking for a fun hobby, I can get you where you want to be in your musical life. I’m fun, friendly and music is my passion and profession and I love to share it.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I can bring extra guitars if needed, acoustic or electric.

*** Specialties ***
I specialize in getting beginners up and running right away while helping each guitarist to find there own voice and have fun at the same time! When playing non-original music I specialize in blues, jazz and popular music.

About Anthony
Hi everyone!
My name is Anthony Ceravolo, I'm an alumnus of the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media (whose most well known alumni are Tosin Abasi of Animals as Leaders and Kyle Cook of Matchbox 20). When I was a student in AIMM I studied multiple styles of music (including jazz, rock, blues, and classical), I attended classes on music theory and music business as well. I enjoy being an educator, and take pride in seeing my students achieve their goals. I believe that when my student achieves a goal, I have achieved my goal as an educator.

To tell you a little about me, I'm a Georgia native and grew up around music. I've been playing guitar since I was 10 years old. When I graduated from AIMM I played lead guitar in the backing band for contemporary Christian artist Chelsie Boyd. I've composed on soundtracks for Floating Light Studi
os, and I've worked with Jen Hodges, a music advocate and educator for a non-profit organization called Notes for Notes, in Atlanta, Georgia.

As an educator, I tailor my lesson to your individuaI learning style. I incorporate a relaxed environment and re-enforce discipline to promote a fun and structured learning environment; I work at the pace that you are comfortable with, and I allow you to participate in choosing content that is relative to the curriculum as you learn.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. My job is to help you.

About Paul
I am a classically trained guitarist whose mission is to help my students reach their goals while inspiring a love and passion for music. Never picked up a guitar before? No problem! You’ll be playing your favorite songs in no time. Have you been playing for years but need a little help overcoming that next hurdle? Great! You’ll be playing better and with more confidence than ever before. In order to truly improve you need determination and dedication, and that’s why I try to keep things fun and inspired from the very first lesson.

I first picked up guitar in 7th grade and never put it down afterward. I took lessons throughout high school and eventually decided to pursue music in college. I received my Bachelor of Music in Recording Technology and my Master of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from Ball State University. While stud
ying I held the Classical Guitar Graduate Assistantship at BSU. My responsibilities included instructing individual undergraduate students in proper classical guitar technique, history of the instrument, and musical expression through etudes and repertoire in preparation for performances. I also directed small classical guitar ensembles as part my of duties.

After receiving my degrees, I moved to Chicago and, in addition to my own private lessons, I also taught for Merit School of Music in Chicago and Sherwood Community Music School at Columbia University. I instructed private and group classical guitar classes with both schools. Our goals were to expand students’ personal and educational growth by cultivating a strong work ethic, effective listening, teamwork, and self-confidence. We developed each student’s musical potential by improving their musical knowledge, skill, and instrumental technique.

I took a short hiatus from teaching to travel Australia and New Zealand. While there I still taught and did a little street performing while traveling. While I was there I began working with Yousician to develop an additional service for their app in which users get personalized help from music teachers. Now that I am back in the USA I'm ready to get back into teaching full swing!

When I teach I don't simply have a One-Size-Fits-All approach. Every guitarist is different, with what they're good at, what they need to improve on, their likes, and their dislikes. Because of this, I use their interests to help propel them forward while incorporating personalized technical exercises that are designed to help them overcome challenges. Simultaneously, I sprinkle in Music Theory so that each student can gain a stronger understanding of harmony, rhythm, and layout of their instrument. So, whether you're trying to pursue music at the collegiate level or just learn a few of your favorite songs, I'll be sure to help you get here and have some fun along the way!

Please let me know if you're looking for Private Lessons and whether you're interested in Online, In-Home, or In-Studio Lessons as my rates are different for each type of lesson. Additionally, I do provide Group Lessons on a case-by-case basis. If you're interested in Group Lessons please contact me and we can work out the details. Finally, I have a 24-hr cancellation/reschedule policy. If you fail to notify me 24 hours in advance of our lesson it will count as a missed lesson.

I look forward to hitting the shed and getting to shred!

About Brian
You can find my you tube channel by searching Brian Voll music.

A short bio:

Brian was born June 1992 in Kitchener, a city just west of Toronto, Ontario in Canada. His musical life began at nine years when he first started lessons with his grandmother. After showing a growing fascination with jazz and blues music he began studies with Andriy Tykohnov. At this time Brian had begun performing in several rock and blues groups such as The Red Ribbon Player’s and Alex Tintinalli Band and simultaneously started his own jazz piano trio. At 14 years he decided to make classical studies a major part of his musical diet and started working under the instruction of Olena Klyucharova, leading to the completion of a certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music. He also studied the pipe organ with Marlin Nagtegaal. Shortly after this he also com
pleted a double major in Music and Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. While a student, he was very active in the Southern Ontario jazz scene, working with jazz groups such as the Derek Hines quintet, the Macondo quartet, his own Brian Voll Trio and various other local musicians.
In 2014 life brought him to Athens, Greece, where he has been living ever since. In Athens, Brian has been performing with local groups No More Blues and Tea for X, and has arranged a jazz piano trio with Seraphim Bellos on drums and on Ilias Karkavelias bass. The trio performs predominately Brian’s compositions as well as arrangements of well know standards.
Aside from performance, Brian is actively composing in various idioms and ensemble settings, teaching both classical and contemporary music, practising his second instrument, the Panflute, and studying music independently. He has a great fascination with the different ways music is approached and taught around the world and is constantly seeking opportunities to deepen his understanding and appreciation of music not so familiar to the western ear.

About Chris
Originally from Bloomington, IN, I've worked as a music instructor and professional musician for over 8 years. I love being involved in all aspects of the music industry, whether it's writing, teaching, arranging, performing, recording, producing, or promoting.

I have taught over 50 students in the 6 years I've been teaching, and have had several of those students go on to become music majors in college. My focus as an educator is to establish fundamentals and vitally important techniques as effectively and quickly as possible with my students. Then, it becomes more enjoyable and sustainable to begin making great music (all the while incorporating those important aspects of being a musician!).

My primary instruments are drums, saxophone, and euphonium. However, I am proficient and frequently perform on trombone, clarinet, bass, g
uitar, and many other instruments. I enjoy playing jazz and classical music the most, but have performed professionally with groups of just about every popular genre! My musical interests have no bounds, and I believe that all music has something great to offer.

So, let's get started: beginner, intermediate, or advanced, we can begin rapidly building your musical foundation/career right away!
