Justin is the quintessential professional in every way. His approach is to make you a better student of music not necessarily just learn guitar. He is patient with you and very positive and reinforcing. The passion he has for music is obvious from the first time you meet him. As with any good manager, just by the way he teaches, makes you want to be a better student.

My first lesson with Justin went well. I have social anxiety so meeting new people is always a stressful experience for me. I was much more comfortable than expected and learned a lot. I definitely recommend Justin if you are looking for lessons in any of the areas he offers.

About Mia
I am a professional singer and actress with opera and musical theater credits. Singing is my passion! I love to sing, and I LOVE to teach others to sing! The human voice is the most natural instrument of all, and helping others to bring out the beauty of the natural instrument that lies within them is something to which I am very devoted. I like to make students feel comfortable and at ease in lessons, and you will find that I am very warm and friendly!

Every student is unique, with their own strengths, their own areas for improvement, and their own preference for certain styles of singing. I can help you find what style makes your heart sing!

I have a broad range of credits, including the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler On The Roof with Theodore Bikel (Tzeitel understudy), and Off-Broadway in Fiorello (Marie) and The Rose Ta
ttoo (Flora). Among my many regional credits are Oliver at the Chiswick Park Theater in Sudbury, MA (Nancy), Camelot with Noel Harrison at the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly, MA (Nimue/Guinevere understudy), and Is There Life After High School with Desi Arnaz, Jr. and Sharon Lawrence at the Burt Reynolds Theater in Jupiter, FL. She is amazing as a teacher and a singer. I was looking for formal training to advance in my singing and understand what I am doing wrong. And Mia have helped me so much in just 3 classes. As a singer I felt stuck and wanted to advance my skills and I was very doubtful of teachers but I can say with confidence Mia is the perfect teacher for me. She makes it so comfortable for me to explore my voice and range. So far everything she has taught me has helped me realize my mistakes that were holding me back from singing at my best. She is also very accommodating in terms of class schedule. I always look forward to my class with her.

Do you love to sing more contemporary music? Or are you more interested in classical voice? With training in both of these genres I can help you start to establish a base of technique for any genre, or expand on a base of technique. So that you can sing with more ease and able to put your own spin and unique touch on your favorite songs! I believe that singing should be a fun and expressive experience, and to free up your voice to get you sounding amazing!

About Sarah
I'm an upcoming freshman in a college of music with my principal instrument in voice but I also play piano, guitar, ukulele, and saxophone! I have been studying voice for 10 years and piano for 6, I have a base in classical training for voice but have expanded more recently towards contemporary styles of singing.

I currently perform in 3 bands locally and have a passion for live music. I believe that music can be one of the most amazing forms of expression that a person can have and love to have been a part of someone else's musical journey! I love to teach music theory as a way to open up the possibilities of self expression through playing and/or singing!

Students of voice can expect to go through a warm up routine at the beginning of a lesson before going into full musical pieces, these can include any genre and can be songs that yo
u choose and bring in or songs that I can provide from my library.

Students of piano can expect a more technique based approach going more by some piano technique books which will then expand into figuring out and playing songs that you hear on the radio!

I firmly believe that music is a wonderful gift and I hope that I get to be a part of your unique musical journey and help you become the best musician you can possibly be!

Learning to sing is best grounded in the classical or bel canto tradition. This means learning to be a soloist with the production of aspiration to operatic sound. However it does not mean that all soloists must sing like an opera singer but learn the fundamentals to sing any style or kind of vocal production without developing vocal problems. With my varied experience in all kinds of vocal styles, having branched out from the my own vocal training from classical to pop and rock, I can coach in any genre. I have a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ with study in the Science of Vocal Pedagogy and 50 years singing experience in church and community choirs, choruses, private lessons, musical theater, solo performances, and karaoke. Basic music training will be provided if necessary. I also have computer, AV, and KJ skills to enhance the full experience of singing and recording.

About Brian
From my 50 plus years in singing and as a semi-professional singer, I have found that my education in the best origins of vocal production and music have served me well to sing any kind of music and style, as well as teach all genres. I have sung with many community choruses and churches in the South Florida area, as a Bass-Baritone soloist. I have also sung second tenor parts.

The original training from choirs and choruses, musical theater leads and music direction, to obtaining a degree of Bachelor of Music Education with major in Voice, to being a paid choir section leader and soloist over the years, gave me a great experience and overview of vocal music. I have performed in many a variety of major vocal works, stage and venues. Conducted choirs and coached individual singers.

Currently I sing and record a lot, and perform wi
th karaoke backtracks as I am a solo performer and I have a small karaoke business. But I get great satisfaction coaching people who have aspirations to sing better, whether in a professional career setting or just to improve the singing techniques of those who love singing. While I am retired now, I want to be able to reach out to anyone who can find me online for coaching. My schedule is very fluid and open at this time.
While I have a Music Education degree, I have gained the most knowledge from the professional associates, including accomplished accompanists and my own vocal coaches. I have worked with over years, both in choral and solo singing. Please read my extensive variety of background in singing, vocal training, conducting, performance and recording/karaoke on the community level.

Most currently, I have sung at Karaoke venues in the tricounty of south Florida and won contests. I have performed my own solo programs with karaoke accompaniment as well as many past live recitals and concerts with professional accompanists. My latest contributions of vocal recordings samples can be found on the internet.

Musical Theater of Broward Co. - as Music Director.
