With my own practice, I want to expand the horizons of music and where it can take me. Because of this, I plan to structure each of your lessons around growth and patience. Often the best way to improve is to gradually start with the root of your struggles and built from there.
***EXTRA VIOLA for in-person lessons*** Beginners who don’t have an instrument yet can use my 15’’ viola during their lesson. Typically that size would be played comfortably by a child, but if you have any questions please let me know.
For lessons at my home or in the community center, parents/guardians are welcome to sit in.
Adult beginners are also welcome!

Hi! Music is one of the most consistently gravitating forces in my life. Whether it be listening to music or making it, the harmonies that fill the earth hold a heavy place in my heart. My interest goes beyond classical music, and I often enjoy fusions of genres. I am influenced by artists like Ba

Students will learn voice techniques through traditional and unconventional ways from games to vocal exercises. I have a degree in music and will also teach music history. Students will learn from different genres of music to expand their music repertoire. I offer lessons to students who want to be professional singers or singers who just have a passion for singing.
When music is done right,it transcends language and words. That is one of my favorite quotes. Being able to express yourself through singing is like a religious experience if done right. My passion for music goes beyond the technical aspect, but rather the personal experience, and the personal

Jeff was probably the best thing to happen to me as a teenager. I took bass lessons from Jeff for 5 years & in that time, my world of music expanded as did my skills in playing music. My lessons with Jeff prepared me well enough to enter into college level music courses. If I had an audition, Jeff zeroed in on what I needed to know & helped me get the gig. His study techniques work, if you work em'! He will show you what you want & you will get a whole lot more. Ask him about the Louie Louie/Wild Thing thread & you will get the history & learn to play R-n-R, the Blues, R.n.B, Funk. & the foundations of Jazz. All levels, all styles, Jeff Stetson is my #1 recommendation for learning music. Thanks Jeff, I am positive you helped keep me out of trouble & possibly jail too."

Guitar teacher Zachary A. shatters these excuses, busts a few myths, and shares why music theory is so important for guitarists after all... Music theory is a vast, almost unending, amount of knowledge. Many of music's greats studied and had schooling for decades.
