About Christine
Let's learn together!

I'm an operatic soprano who works freelance in Germany. I have an MM in Vocal Performance at the University of Minnesota, with a BM in Vocal Performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. In addition to experience teaching vocal technique, I have experience with English, French, Italian and German diction, and many musical styles. Pop, musical theater, you name it! It's all good. :)

I have been teaching English part-time for over a year now, and I really enjoy getting to know people from all over the world! I am TEFL-certified and have several Cambridge Teacher Knowledge certifications. I try to make my lessons as fun as possible, and will organize the lessons according to your wants, needs, experience, and age!

Singing lessons typically start with a short physical and vocal warm-up,
and then we move on to repertoire (selected by either myself or the student). As with English lessons, singing lessons are very student-focused--I will structure the lessons to work toward the goals we make together!

About Dale
As a performer I have been playing for over fifteen years on the piano. I have received training at Vanguard University where my teacher's were graduates from Juilliard and Yale. I currently accompany the choirs at Desert Ridge Junior High. I have received a Masters in Music from Baylor University and a Doctorate from ASU and currently teach Music at Grand Canyon University. I am a published choral composer, and have had music performed in Europe and Canada.

In August of 2012 I began teaching piano on a part-time basis. My teaching philosophy has always been to make sure the students understand why and not just how to perform something. I emphasize music theory along with piano lessons and expect the students to take the time to practice every week. I have taught children of all ages from 4 to 16 years old.

If you would like a
female teacher please contact my wife who is also a teacher on take lessons:

I have been teaching French for all age groups (beginning from 3 years old kids to the adult advanced level) for more than 20 years and I am really happy to provide my students with the experience and skills I have acquired for all the years.

I have worked with the kids of all the age groups creating cooperative learning, hands-on and minds-on approach. I always try to create an individual approach to every child to develop his/her unique language skills and personal perception.

I am a professionally credentialed and certified teacher from California state and I am happy to share my
experience and my love for French with all students and their families.

I was out of school for more than 10+ years when I decided to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. I knew with all the papers that I would have to write I needed a tutor. Amy was strongly recommended. She held me accountable to have my drafts completed before each scheduled meeting. She taught me the importance of knowing the audience for whom I would be writing, how to use the correct vocabulary; so that the reader knew exactly what I was conveying. It was stressed that a well written paper should have an awesome opening, body and conclusion. My confidence grew with each paper that I wrote for indeed she had taught me the process. I wrote papers of different genres; while receiving outstanding scores from my professors. Amy is great at what she does and is highly recommended.
