About Ro

From the age of 4, RaShelle composed music and played piano by ear, dreaming of the day when she would be able to hear her pieces played by full string orchestras and symphony orchestras. In high school, she began studying classical piano performance with Mrs. Patricia Randolph, graduate of Eastma

Great with kids

My 4 year old daughter expressed an interest in playing the piano but neither my wife or I know how to play. I'm very pleased we found RaShelle. She's patient, positive and enthusiastic. Our daughter looks forward to each lesson, which is more than I could have hoped for. And, she's learning a lot.

What impresses me most is that RaShelle is also helping her learn to sing in key while she plays. My daughter is only 4 and already knows how to do things that I can't. That's pretty exciting.

Enthusiastic Teacher!

RaShelle has a God-given musical talent and it shows in her enthusiasm for music - not only in piano, but guitar and singing, as well.

RaShelle's love for music~ is evident in the way that she teaches and inspires you as a student to want to excel to the same level of excellence.

I strongly recommend this young woman as a teacher.

I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree at the Eastman School of Music in vocal performance and literature. I believe in empowering my students so that they can sing in all styles of music that interest them with ease and freedom. Good singing is good singing and I am comfortable teaching classical, musical theater, pop, jazz, country etc. I like to set up my students with a strong foundation for singing so that they can practice efficiently and overcome vocal obstacles without my instruction.

About Michael

Hello everyone, I am Michael - I am currently in school at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY pursuing my doctoral degree in vocal performance and literature. I have sung all over the world in operas, musicals and with professional choirs. I enjoy teaching all levels of singing and love

Great teacher - funny, patient and understanding. I look forward to more lessons with Michael in the future!
Elizabeth
I started lessons with Michael having done both contemporary voice and years of choir. But prior to training with Michael, I'd never really been coached as to how to properly sing in a classical style. He's allowed me to find an entire element of my voice I didn't know I had and made it incredibly straightforward to progress. I now absolutely love singing in a way I didn't previously think I would.
Abby
Michael is knowledgeable, funny, and thoughtful. I am a wind instrumentalist, and Michael tailored voice lessons to discuss topics specifically related to my areas of experience. I would highly recommend Michael for voice lessons!

Improv is all about NOT SAYING NO and being fearless! A true actor should thrive on improv. It takes great skill to be raw and inventive on the spot. Improv is best taught in groups but one on one is excellent as well, especially for the beginner.

Keith is fantastic! He expects the highest level of preparation and performance from me at all my lessons and thus pushes me to be a better performer every time. He tailors my lessons to exactly what I need - specific work for upcoming auditions as well as more general work to expand my repertoire. His lessons are also not not limited singing coaching - he also provides coaching in acting and movement. I feel like I have presented some of my best work to auditors as a result of working with Keith! And he does all this in the friendliest manner possible so that my lessons are always a great combination of fun, hard work, and inspiration.
Yi
Keith is a knowledgeable and great teacher. He will let you feel comfortable at singing and doing all the practices and make you realize what the correct postures and things needed to make you feel confident. Also, he is pretty easy-going with scheduling and just let him know in advance and he will reschedule the class for you. Definitely recommended.

Justin is the quintessential professional in every way. His approach is to make you a better student of music not necessarily just learn guitar. He is patient with you and very positive and reinforcing. The passion he has for music is obvious from the first time you meet him. As with any good manager, just by the way he teaches, makes you want to be a better student.

From a first impressions perspective, this was a 5 star experience. Stephanie made me comfortable and took the time to hear my concerns and goals on the 1st lesson. Simultaneously, she provided encouragement and confidence coaching I did not anticipate. It was a great experience, and I am excited to see what the future holds!

"Adam Gaines is a godsend. I was really lucky to have his guidance over the years which helped my craft and dedication to the art of writing greatly. He is a proven writer with legitimate credits but also, he actually cares. He is always ready to help and takes your material seriously which is most important when you want honest feedback and guidance. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of films, screenwriting, and the industry that is both impressive and beneficial. He is a wonderful friend and mentor who will always have a great recommendation or suggestion ready for your work and/or career. Adam is an extremely open individual with an immense passion for film and the craft of screenwriting which becomes infectious. That trait is crucial since it keeps you driven to keep learning and grow. He is also an excellent conversationalist with his own voice which is truly refreshing. Highly recommend."

"I would describe this instructor as polite, courteous, relaxed, punctual, calm, non-judgmental, competent, and prepared. The session began promptly at the appointed time. The video and audio connections worked flawlessly with no lag time. The video began with the casually dressed instructor seated in her residence. After brief introductions, the instructor asked what I wanted to get out of these lessons. I explained that I wanted to learn how to slow down my speaking voice and to lower the pitch of my voice to come across as more authoritative. The instructor then explained that my goals were common and that she believed she could help me. At that point, the instructor began discussing psychological and emotional issues, which caught me by surprise. After a brief discussion, the instructor then told me her thoughts and opinions, which were based on psychological and emotional issues rather than what I considered to be voice or speech issues. The instructor thoroughly explained the correlation between the two in a way that I understood. Finally, the instructor proposed a lesson plan and sent me a few resources to review before the next session. I went into the first session open minded without any concrete expectations and was pleasantly surprised. There were no mind games, gimmicks, or tricks. The instructor was pleasant and seemed genuinely interested in my case. I did not hesitate scheduling the next session."
