I began privately instructing students while I was still in high school. Thirty years later, my studio teaching experience continues to instill a passion for music and students that are performing in their own venues in school and the community. Knowing that the time I have with each person is leading them to grow and share their own abilities with others is truly the heart of where I think musical instruction should lead.

It is always a pleasure to see my students develop their skills and deeper interest in music. I believe that everyone can perform starting with simple solo pieces of 2-5 minutes long. This experience is rewarding for self development and artistic growth. I remember always playing for my classmates in high school and enjoying it a lot. Making new friends and sharing music is part of being musician and playing musical instrument. I enjoy creativity and imagination in playing music, since every melody has its personality and character, it is like an improvisational storytelling with different narratives. When teaching, it is very important to feel comfortable and and to have proper posture. I always make sure that my students play freely without any tension. I am from Budapest, Hungary. Studied violin and viola there and have been living in the US for 33 years. I am a professional musician performing and teaching. My lessons include a well rounded approach including scales, technique like etudes and real pieces. I also use Suzuki books for their wonderful repertoire.

I am a professional violinist in manhattan. I enjoy catering my lessons to what the student wants to get out of the lesson. I like to prioritize technical proficiency so that students can feel confident tackling new pieces on their own. I received my B.M. in Violin Performance from UC Santa Barbara, and my M.M. in Violin Performance from NYU where I was awarded "Excellence and Outstanding Achievement in the Graduate String Studies Program." I previously served as adjunct violin faculty at NYU and have taught student of all ages and abilities.
