Stephanie was the best teacher I have ever had! She listened to all my concerns about my voice, I was stressed about my mix. And she showed me how I can maneuver around certain songs without cracking. I will most definitely be going to her again :)

Before my lesson, I didn't have much knowledge in regards to the intricate details of music & how it's all laid out. I was just a drummer who would learn a lot by ear, so my insight on chord progressions, note names, chord names & structures etc, were basically nonexistent. But meeting with Ms Stephanie for the few lessons I've had with her, put me in the right direction for learning more about music. I want to start composing & writing my own music & luckily, Ms Stephanie is one of the few teachers who helped get me started. I'm definitely signing up for more future lessons

Howard's approach is patient while at the same time he actually leads my son forward - not just listening to what he practiced that week. Howard does not make the weekly lesson a "test" but rather a session to work together and my son enjoys the lessons instead of worrying if he prepared enough.

We moved from Los Angeles so we chose to transition from lessons in Howard's house to weekly lessons online - it continues to work beautifully.

Howard can accommodate any style of student - I know because I took lessons from Howard myself until my work built up too much to continue.

I recommend Howard without any reservation.

Music theory can be very difficult. If you need help with high school or early college level theory assignments or general studying, I would love to help. I really do love music theory, even though many musicians despise it. It's one of the reasons I went to college for music composition! I love the language of music.

About Andrew

Hello! I've been teaching music full-time for the past 10 years. I graduated music school in 2008, holding a Bachelors in music from Columbia College Chicago, a thriving arts school in the heart of downtown Chicago. "There are those who teach out of necessity, and those who teach out of passion

I'm taking music theory and composition lessons from Daniel to supplement what I already know from composing by ear. He's an excellent teacher, very enthusiastic about teaching the material, and extremely knowledgable. I feel like I've learned a ton so far and we're not even close to done yet! Highly recommended."

"I started taking guitar lessons for the first time 10 months ago and am thankful I found such a great teacher in Ahmad. His positive attitude and love of music helps me stay engaged and lessons are productive and fun.

One of the great things about Ahmad is he listens to you and adjusts lesson content based on the feedback you provide. His ability to listen allows Ahmad to deliver a personalized lesson plan that incorporates your goals and gets you excited about what you are working on.

Ahmad also has taught me techniques to prevent and address minor aches that come up while learning to play. He takes this seriously and shows you how to prevent and resolve any issues that come up.

Overall, taking lessons from Ahmad has been a very positive experience. I look forward to continuing working with him to get better."
