My students regularly have been featured in the region band, all-state band, scholarship recipients, graduate assistantships, regional and international competitions, and regional and international tuba euphonium conferences. Wolfgang is patient, kind, and funny. He’s always upbeat, and always always gentle and encouraging. At the same time, he has a knack for challenging his students and making them want to work hard for him. He has a deep knowledge of music, and once you progress beyond the beginner level he can really help you with theory, technique, and an endless supply of useful tips about how to get the most out of practice, how to tackle a challenging piece, and how to approach a performance. He has an enthusiasm for his subject that is infectious. Our son has really made amazing progress under Wolfgang’s guidance.
We’ve always found Wolfgang to be super flexible and easygoing on the admin side. We never felt the kind of sales pressure from him that you sometimes get with music schools and teachers. He accommodates our scheduling needs with no pressure and no guilt, and always communicates promptly whenever there might be something on his end that would affect a lesson. In short he’s a real pro, the total package, and you won’t regret hiring him as a teacher.
I am an adult student with a full-time job. Needless to say, I need a teacher that can maintain a flexible schedule and understand my time limits. Wolfgang does both, but never makes me feel like I am "falling behind" or "losing momentum". He is very good at making sure that I feel like I am continuously progressing, which continues to keep me focused.
I can't recommend his services enough. Any student would do well with Wolfgang as an instructor.

My name is Ghislain, I am 28 years and have a Master in Dance Performance from the Conservatory of music and dance of Paris. I am also French and arrived in September 2017 with a full scholarship to study dance at UCLA.
I have studied piano for 10 years at the Conservatoire de Nice (South France), have the experience of teaching private lessons in France and am seeking piano students of every level and age. The past year, I have taught 15 beginners from the age of 5 to 60+ in Paris and had so much fun doing it. I can also teach for adults with a intermediate or advanced level.
With beginners, I tend to put my focus on teaching fundamental notions such as being able to read music notes and understanding rhythm; two elements that are essential to be able to play the piano. And within a few weeks, I can make anyone play piano following a music score !
