Trinity is a sophomore at Winthrop University, pursuing a BM in Music Performance with a minor in Music Technology. At Winthrop, she is Principal Viola in the symphony orchestra and violist in the Cabaletta String Quartet. As someone passionate about music, Trinity still wants to expand what she learns outside of the recital hall. Because of this, she plans to structure each lesson around growth and patience. Often the best way to improve is to gradually start with the root of your struggles, and built from there.

About Trinity

Hello! Music is one of the most consistent things in my life that I have always been able to drawback to. Whether it be listening to music or making it, it holds a heavy place in my heart. I have been playing clarinet for twelve years and have taught students of all ages and levels. In my lessons we will work on basic fundamental techniques (breathing, technique, etc) while also learning pieces that you can bring home and play for your family. I believe playing the clarinet is something that gives people the ability to increase their creativity level, confidence, and individual expression which is important to our daily lives. I want my students to be able to grow as individuals and learn to have fun with music through playing the clarinet!

I was out of town when my 15-year old son had his lesson with Kevin, so I sent a text to my son to find out how it went. "He is the best guitar teacher ever!!" my son replied. I think that says it all.

"I am one of those people that has been told all my life that I can't sing. I believed everyone and always thought there was no hope for me. Then I met Cindy. She converted me. I am now a believer. She was able to teach me to match a tone but to believe in myself. Now, I believe that I can learn to match a tone and eventually produce music. Thank you Cindy for that belief in myself and for the knowledge I needed to be able to produce music! Cindy is one of those incredible people that knows how to read people and find a process that works for each."

"I LEARNED. I gained something. Learning from Eddie Cardenas was not just fun but such a great experience. Learning from him was awesome! I was able to not only learn how to play the piano but be able to relate with someone who loves music just as I do. Someone who understands the beauty of it. He was very patient and knew exactly what to do so I could understand EVEN IF I asked a bajillion questions haha! I was able to learn the basics within seconds. I was only interested in learning how to play the piano but after my lessons with that, I wanted to learn more! I wanted to take guitar lessons with him as well. One of the best teachers I know! I don't know if it gets any better than Eddie Cardenas!"

"My son had a very positive experience studying cello with Genevieve for two years before she moved to a new city for a job opportunity. We would have loved to continue studying with her! Genevieve was very positive and encouraging to my son and really helped him improve his bowing and fingering technique. She was always very patient but pushed just enough so that my son felt challenged and proud of the continual improvement in his playing. She also was very organized and always started and ended lessons on time. We highly recommend Genevieve as a cello teacher!"
